    A friend is not particularly " house proud ", her child ( now 22 ) never had a day off sick whilst attending school & college.
    She recalled that every day another child would be off sick with something or other.
    I'm now 69 and have always thought that all the chemicals used in the home and on the land can't be good for any life on our now ailing planet.
    ps.

    Amazing how, over the course of 50 years these chemicals have been incorporated into pretty much everything. The price we pay for not spending 30% of earnings on food? (Though we now spend that on housing instead....). Will be changing to iron pans and saving jars for food storage. Water will be the big challenge though.

    • @drphilipbosanquet
      @drphilipbosanquet  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Agreed, expectations people have for food being ridiculously cheap show how out of touch we all are with food production. Re water, we currently have aquatru counter top reverse osmosis filter and remineralise with viridian electrolyte fix. It does feel like a big principal compromise because it involves plastic tech. For just me I wouldn't have bothered but with kids involved....and also becomes even more pertinent if fluoride is being added to the water too.

    My ex partner was alao taking statins for a number of years and being trtd under a professor for Dermatomyesitis (a deadly auto immune disease). He told my ex that statins are definitely linked with auto immune diseases but there wasn't much understanding on the mechanism. My ex stopped taking statins and during his trt made friends with a number of people young and old who died via progression of the illness. He was scared. I recognise some of these things cost more, so can see where you coming from, however, there are lots of options that can be cost neutral / save you money. eg. minimalism allows spending more money on few higher quality items, reducing tech, switching to cheaper in season fruit eg organic apples rather than non-organic berries, here in the UK wild oily fish eg mackeral / sardines can be bought fresh cheaply, cold showers (I've done for a year since electricity went up), turning lights/screens off after dark earlier (for better sleep), outdoor exercise. I also now almost never drink alcohol as can't justify the price. I'm sure lots others I could think of...you may have inspired a future video.
