I actually applied for mine when my US visa was expired. So you are fine as long as your I-20 is valid. I have videos on my channel about how I renewed my F1 visa. Also, I ended up going to Mexico to renew it. The video is also on my channel. Enjoy! ☺️

Please don't come to Canada if you don't already have a job. Getting a job here is next to impossible. These agencies will promise you the world. The grass is always green on the other side. Coming as a student is a nightmare. Google the problems of coming to Canada and you will realise.

@@UnikJane for a student it's worse. Don't think there are jobs waiting once you finish your education. Very few actually get the jobs they studied for. Very very few. Taking so much of student loan and no jobs out there is a common Canadian thing.

I planned to stay for 5 days, and that was what I wrote.
The maximum is 6 months and it has nothing to do with the duration stated during your application.
