When exo were on JYP Party People, it's clear that fans haven't changed. They still feel their biases shouldn't date, and that they have this possession over them. It's really sad because most idols become depressed as schedules take over their lives and it becomes hard and when fans, the people who claim to support them, make their lives harder by creating scandals it depresses them more. I wish this ship didn't crash because they both seemed happier.
This is why I wish that in the beginning of kpop in general that they never played into that fan service bullsh*t. Because alot and I mean alot of fans (especially now) can't distinguish between fiction/fantasy and reality with all this shipping stuff. Now I don't have a problem with shipping, I find it funny and sometimes cute whether it be within the girl or boy groups or boyxgirl ships. But it becomes a problem when a lot of fans don't know their boundaries (making threats, harrashment, insults, etc.). Adding to that, they think they have full possession of the object of their affection (idols) and become obsessed to where they have that * nobody can have you but me/if you want she/he then you will have to share and or if I can't have you then noone can mentality.. Which is pathetic and sad and happens in the non-celebrity world as well. This is why I just laugh whenever these fans become so upset when they realize that their favs aren't going to stay single forever and will get a significant other and it won't be them.

I’m actually glad I clicked on this video. I didn’t know much about Baekyeon because I only became a fan of EXO recently. I didn’t know anything about Taeyeon and I feel like the rumours gave me a bad view of her. From this video, I can see thet they were really happy around each other and that the breakup hit them hard. I don’t believe that they’re still together because it just seems hard to believe, but if they are or they do get back together, I will support them with my whole heart. The fact that fans caused them to break up and they looked so upset after. Fans are supposed to make idols happy and be happy for them, when all they did is make them hurt. I don't think they'll be getting back together, sadly. Taeyeon received loads of hate from crazy EXO-Ls. What's funny, Taeyeon and Baekhyun happen to be my biases in their respective groups.
The reason they had to breakup is not just bc of fans cricticism, but they both had album sales drop and huge popularity drops after the relationship was made public. If they had kept dating they would not be able to make as much money bc even though they have true fans who will support them no matter what these are in the minority. Most fans will desert their idol at even just a rumour. That's why idol always have to be careful in public, even small things are considered scandal. For example joshua from seventeen didnt smile (he was sick and felt uncomfortable) at a fanmeet, so fans got angry and threw things at him. The sad reality is that idols are well idolized. They have to be perfect 24/7 on and off camera even though most if not all idols are overworked, underweight, lethargic and underpaid.
And even up till now i believe that this still left a scar in baekhyun's heart. In 2017 when exo came to knowing brothers, baekhyun said that he is sensitive towards 'girlfriend' things . I just hope they can date and get married one day. And now yixing's 2020 resolution is to date. Whoever cross the line, imma beat your ass for him! LET THEM DATE PEACEFULLY. they are almost 30 for god sake. They are humans. If we really love them as a fan (which we probably never more than that. You know what i mean right.) then we should support them earnestly. Thats how we show our love not by being obssessed. I cant sleep and now its 5.30 in my country. He got sooo much hate for dating, there were petitions being made to kick him out of the group, fake rumours, witchunts etc etc. He got put in the musical for the first time and he had to practice a lot amongst all the hate, so the last day of the musical he was really thankful to fans who attended and sad by everything that happened, so he cried near the end ;~; poor baby. He was so sad for over a year.. the hate really effected him.
I feel like they probably dated for a while even after people thought they had broken up, but I really doubt they are still dating. For one, I'm more than sure Baekhyun has shown interest in other women such as IU, Jo Bo Ah, and Hwasa, the boy is so damn obvious lol. Second, I feel like Baekhyun has changed. Might just be me but despite his antics and crazy ass personality, he seems more mature than back then. The reason they had to breakup is not just bc of fans cricticism, but they both had album sales drop and huge popularity drops after the relationship was made public. If they had kept dating they would not be able to make as much money bc even though they have true fans who will support them no matter what these are in the minority. Most fans will desert their idol at even just a rumour. That's why idol always have to be careful in public, even small things are considered scandal. For example joshua from seventeen didnt smile (he was sick and felt uncomfortable) at a fanmeet, so fans got angry and threw things at him. The sad reality is that idols are well idolized. They have to be perfect 24/7 on and off camera even though most if not all idols are overworked, underweight, lethargic and underpaid.
And even up till now i believe that this still left a scar in baekhyun's heart. In 2017 when exo came to knowing brothers, baekhyun said that he is sensitive towards 'girlfriend' things . I just hope they can date and get married one day. And now yixing's 2020 resolution is to date. Whoever cross the line, imma beat your ass for him! LET THEM DATE PEACEFULLY. they are almost 30 for god sake. They are humans. If we really love them as a fan (which we probably never more than that. You know what i mean right.) then we should support them earnestly. Thats how we show our love not by being obssessed. I cant sleep and now its 5.30 in my country. He got sooo much hate for dating, there were petitions being made to kick him out of the group, fake rumours, witchunts etc etc. He got put in the musical for the first time and he had to practice a lot amongst all the hate, so the last day of the musical he was really thankful to fans who attended and sad by everything that happened, so he cried near the end ;~; poor baby. He was so sad for over a year.. the hate really effected him.
I feel like they probably dated for a while even after people thought they had broken up, but I really doubt they are still dating. The idols or whatever you want to call them, they are people like you and me,they fall in love and suffer like everyone else.They have the right to fall in love and go out with whoever they want. And it's our duty as a fan to support them and be happy for them. The best gift you can give your idol is to be happy for his happiness. I really hope you take the words that i wrote so that you can reflect on this and serve them.

I wonder why "fans" are like this. Idols entertain us, yes they do, because it's their job. We already have a huge bonus because they love us so much. People need to remember idols are humans, not our puppets.

yeah some fans were so rude, even when the rumor of their breakup came they make give up aways and overall were celebrating, not to mention that many haters were exo fans that didn't even stan baekhyun but they thought he have tarnish exo name and things like that, everything was just ridiculous

Why am I crying? :< I hope this couple is always mentioned again and again to show what "the haters" had done. I don't really blame the fans because their points were right. But if two of them had suffered from pressure and insulting comments of most of their own fans that they couldn't take it anymore, they would have done somethings stupid and you know who caused it. Those people will understand when they're older.

EXO should put out an ultimatum for their fans, Either let us date freely or we stop making music and disband, and maybe that would work but the sad part is that those possessive and stupid fans would actually let them go over it.
