    Dave what a beautiful ficus. I'm going to be on the lookout for one. Love the pot as well. I think the color actually matches the trunk well. looking forward to seeing the progression of this tree.

    I love the bigger pot Dave - I have a couple just like it but smaller. I think your story telling is great and definitely lends itself to the videos. I think the biggest shame of having Ficus is knowing they need to find a place inside - I'm already planning which windowsills have to house my growing community of indoor trees! I just wish I could elimate those sticky honeydew drops that inevitably come later in the year :(

    Whoa, that was great, brother! I’ve been looking forward to this video since the challenge. Awesome job taming the beast. Really looking forward to where you take this one. (I hope Mrs. Dave likes what ya did too!!)
    I think one of those cuttings would look slick in the tank/pot forest, with a branch reaching for the water.

    Awesome congratulations job well done and I’m sure that the wife will love to have it in the house for the winter. And by the way your water bottle is the same as what I use for I keep six of them on hand for jobs around the house and out side 😀

    Looks great. You might need to go pot shopping before the next time. 🤔 I have one of these too. It died back to the ground in full sun. It's back but now but super small. Sun pruning is harsh.

    I really like this triangularis Dave! The pot is a great fit and color. Someday when it grows bigger you can switch to the pot from your folks.

    Nice one! How come u dont wire down the tree in the pot so it doesnt move?🙏🏻

    • @DavesBonsai
      @DavesBonsai  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do wire some, but not all. Many of my tropicals I don’t wire these days. Just trying new methods.
