If you have a fixed place , then any prime lens: 50mm, 35mm... etc based on your distance from the camera is good..! If you keep moving, the use a zoom lens would work....!!

Because if you're saying that 50 mm is kind of best for portraits then what if I'm using an APSC sensor and if I buy the 50 it'll be equivalent of 75mm.. and if I'm looking for the 50mm or the closest to this for the APSC then I think I'd better go for the 35mm to get the 50mm angle of view.. please correct me if I'm wrong..

Apsc has 1.6 crop factor which changes focal length... how to select for an apsc lens equivalent to full frame....?
You don't have to select APSC lens considering full frame in mind ..!

What should I use for crop camera 35 or 50. As 50 mm will also include 1.5x
Depends on your usage..! For portraits specifically 50mm will do good... it will become 85 equivalent and is cheap
