- PLEASE NOTE: Bike wasn't tuned for a full system or for either muffler. Both mufflers were all brand new and not ran in at all.
Bike has Yoshi headers and ran with Yoshi R11 slipon and ASR slipon made to fit Yoshi headers.
NOTE: this is not the usual design used for our slipon.
It was made at the very last minute to be a ultra light weight 0.6kg and different materials were used and it flown out that night.
Our usual spec should see another 2-3 hp added.
Coming soon will be full spec ASR vs OEM slipon 2017 GSXR 1000 dyno run.

Since it isn't tuned, I may be able to pick up some more HP after it does get tuned. Maybe close to 190?
Howard Roark Depends on what you do. A full system, filter and ecu flash will net decent gains. Just prepared to spend a bit of money for all of that.

i watched MCN review about this bike this bike on 1/4 quarter mile drag it faster than bmw s1000rr and other 2017 bike. by the way the bike sound nice with ASR slip can i know the price?

Is it possible that 2017 gixxer just does not make the advertised power because there is no ram-air effect on the dyno. It was the fastest bike on the MCN drag race, in the 9s.
B T All dyno's are different. Some operaters use corrections and so on. If all bikes were completely stock and ran in the same conditions and no number fiddling then it would gauge more honest numbers.
Dynoverks is trustworthy and why we use them.
ASR MOTO That wasn't the point I was making. dyno cannot simulate air pressure into the air intakes at 200kmh can it? Yet in real world conditions this L7 blows all the other 1000cc bikes into water.
B T There are twin fans directed at this bike. I cant answer atm what wind conditions it is simulating. I will ask at the next dyno run though.
B T Factory electronic strings have the throttle blades opening late and closing too early. It will go from 165hp at rear wheel to 180 with a reflash of the ECU retiming the throttle blades to allow more air in the mix. Check out Brock's he has a video specifically on it on YT. Really interesting.

Hector Gallegos The breakin service needs to be cleared by the dealer hector.
There are some pins you need to connect in the tail. If that is too hard to figure out with the internet then it may be best to go to a dealer. Enjoy your bike they only get better as you break them in.

RacingItalia46 We made one muffler which is close to the raw sound like Motogp but it was too loud. I got a headache everytime riding after 10-15 mins.

cm-GSX-R1000R . That's pretty good, I saw a video of a 17 that was supposedly putting down 195....probably one of those dynos that just make people feel good huh?

I raced a 2017 Gixxer 1000 4 nights ago. I put 7-9 buses on him in a long straight away !!!!!!! I ride a stock 2015 BMW S1000RR with a -1 on the rear sprocket. I pulled away as soon as we started the roll-on !!!!! The longer we stayed in it, the futher I opened up on him !!!!!
