Flight Report | 4h delay in London! | London (LGW) to Geneva | easyJet | A319

- Hello and welcome to a new flight report. Today we are flying for the first time with EasyJet. The first flight was also a huge disaster because of an 4h delay in London.
About the delay:
Planed was an other plane (G-EZAK) but this plane had an APU failure so it wasn’t able to fly us.
The replacement aircraft (G-EZBW) arrived 1h delayed from Barcelona.
Then because of to much traffic at the moment in the London airspace we didn’t get a slot
(time to depart from the air traffic controler) so they didn’t start boarding.
At the end the bus drivers where to late at
the boarding gate so we missed or thierd slot so we had to wait another 1h in the aircraft.

Very good Tripreport
I hope they manage to re book you in the end. I've used both easyjet and geneva a few times and generally good experiences with both. London airports are a nightmare however for me they're hard to avoid as most options round me don't have cheap flights or limited destinations. I very rarely have an on time flight from Gatwick due to it being such a congested airport with its single runway that i'm usually always waiting onboard for a take off slot. I did actually connect in Geneva back in 2015 with easyjet doing Olbia- Geneva- Gatwick. Had a 4 and half hour connection so was able to pop into Geneva for a couple of hours and look around as its only a few minutes on the train from the airport.

Hi I'm a new subscriber to your channel, I have visited Geneva many times as I had a friend who lived there. I absolutely love Geneve such a beautiful city, so much to do and see and travelling from Geneve airport has always been a good experience and never had a delay.
I live in Manchester so have the choice of travelling from Manchester or Liverpool airports, and always found Easyjet to be good value for money,
I have watched your Swiss fight to LCY and yes London is an amazing place, I 'm really enjoying your content and wondered if you managed to rebook your connection ?
