    One thing you didnt mention is Lebron is using a dribble move where both of his feet are off the ground alot as the ball is coming back up to his hand from the ground, this kind of dribble allows the player to make advanced cuts at different angles to get to spots on the floor and keeps the defenders guessing and refs guessing if the player traveled or not which makes it real hard because the dribble is so fast with the feet only being a few inches off the ground, this is key into how players change speeds low to high.

      Don't have video but they can easily do it. Not hard at all. Get low, push ball out and you are there. A good high school boy or girl should be able to go full court in 4 dribbles. Not with defenders on the court - but out in the open during practice.

      alot of you are complaining bout bron being big & strong i played like this @ 5'3 125 pounds going against 6'3 6'4 varsity players at my school .. well i am fast too maybe you guys arent so fast this for more athletic dudes i guess but if you use what hes teaching you in these videos trust it will work you're not gonna be going against NBA size dudes yall are not in the NBA. you will be going against average people around your size & athleticism most of the time or im sure you wouldnt go out & play at all. size does not matter maybe speed but its bout heart being aggressive body positioning & looking to making contact with your defender before he makes contact with you. just go out there & have some fuckin heart & believe in yourself you will see what hes talkin bout stop making excuses. & you probably womt be as strong & fast as bron but you can always hit the gym & workout to gain the same edges he has against his competition against yours 🤷🏿‍♂️

    I've recently started playing basketball and was wondering about some of the comments made about this (pretty cool) NBA commercial featuring LeBron James. It looks like he takes 1 step after receiving the ball before dribbling it, is that considered to be a travel? I doubt the NBA would make a commercial showing a blatant violation so I'm assuming it's valid but want to know what the exact rule is.

    • @captainpqtrick2961
      @captainpqtrick2961 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's called a gather. If the ball is still in motion (going up or about to be "gathered" in your hands, the step won't count. Technically, it'll be 3 steps but that step would not count if the ball is still in motion going up after the dribble :)

  • @repetition4078
    @repetition4078 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    It's only suitable for ppl of the size of lebron .Shorter guard would have to force a hook shot or floater which is most of the time impossible shot when they keep their ball that fast .Lebron is good bcs he can finish even in front of centre.
