I tried to surprise my wife by making one of these with one of her forks. Now I have to find a place to hide that fork I broke before she notice is gone.
Ooooo , that’s bad :-) You better use a few cheap forks to practice, stainless steel forks are the best to do that. Silver plated forks you have to annealing first.
@@BrutusMetalArt thanks!! Unfortunately 😔 my wife won't allow me to play with torches no more. See last month I kinda sorta started a little fire in the garage by mistake trying to fix a Justrite Safety can, and you know how women always over react about garage fires, specially when they have their mothe over for dinner 🙄. Anyway, I'm thinking I have a plan, im gonna go to home depot, buy a torch and a fork and try doing it inside the Home Hepot in the lumber aisle where the security seems to never be at that aisle for some reason. Thank you for all the 411 on this.
Brilliant...
Thanks for watching Michael !
You are not a craftsman.... You're an amazing artist. This was in your mind before you started. Pretty amazing 🤓
Thanks for your nice comment!
The only kind of bug I like! It doesn't fly, doesn't bite and doesn't scurry around. Nice one! Take care, Poo

Can you please tell me what kind of metal those forks are made out of so I can try making one of these? Thanks, great content.
Hello,
see my previous answers, the best material is stainless steel.
what are the pliers you are using called? such a great little project!
Thanks for watching Ruth!
The pliers I use are made by myself, it was an old circlip pliers.
@@BrutusMetalArt very clever! I’ve seen small jewellery type ones before but not a bigger beefier version like you’ve made. Great idea!
That's is so cool 👍 you make it look easy, but I'm sure it's not that easy lol. Great video 👍👍
Hey Lenny, Yes you have to practice, but it is not so difficult. Just try it :-)
@@BrutusMetalArt I'll have to try it at some point, thanks for sharing this info👍

Thanks for watching!
Use stainless cutlery, there are a lot off different types of hardness in cutlery, so try an other brand of cutlery.
Succes!
That was another nice piece, I hope the slashes in your coat are not from a grinder,
Hi Ian,
the jacket comes from the thrift store, it only lasts one winter, and yes, the holes are from grinding :-))
