Over to the West Episode 62

Leaving Exmouth and on the road to Nanutarra Roadhouse heading for Tom Price. The roadhouse is located on the banks of the mighty Ashburton River. The peace and serenity of the outback and the stunning desert sunset is awe inspiring.

Between the Exmouth access road & Nanutarra there used to to be another roadhouse called "Barradale" on the Yanrey river, closed years ago. I remember when that section north to Port Hedland was gravel back in the early 70's.

I'd imagine the whole area to have been very different in the 70s....
