The transition of playing hydra from splat 2 to splat 3 has been really rough for me I can't lie, so im so happy to have found some examples on how Hydra can play more forward. Best of luck climbing further into X!
Yeah i understand, hydra was way more passive in 2 due to armor and such, the current kit allows it to also be more offensive. Thank you, glad i could help!
Just entered into S rank for the first time, Hydra main… I’m so nervous but I can’t wait to get even better with this weapon. Once I’ve started I can’t stop. Love watching these pro videos. Def great for taking tips and notes of how you run game.
you are always so low on ink, and 99% of the time play for booyah instead of stopping to refill. i've never done that before. you're getting a lot out of your sub weapon too, which i usually use sparingly against objects or if i have to fight up close
Just saw you on the front page of top 500 on splatnet! I'm a hydra main and i come back to this video a lot for positioning help. You definitely make it look easy lol
You play Hydra so much more aggressively than me... 😅 I tend to play more passive with Hydra but maybe I should incorporate more aggressive positioning into my gameplay.
Yeah i understand, i used to play more passive as well as that worked in splat 2 but this game is much faster paced, so you'll also have to play faster to be more effective
I really like how aggressive you are with the hydra, I could only dream of playing that way successfully. Ive been tring to play like that since day one of maining the hydra.
We need more of this! These clip really shift my views on hydra! Consider reaching out to some more established TH-camr like gem? These recording worth more than 62 sub.

You have such interesting positions and made decisions that I had never thought of. Thanks for sharing.

I’m trying to learn hydra right now so this is really helpful thanks!!!
Glad to hear it!
What is your gear build? It looks like you are using opening gambit, and intensify action.
Hi! I use 3.3 run speed, 3s swim speed, 1-2 intensify, 1-2 quick super jump and or 1-2 ink resistance

Hi Ferrari! These are awesome! Do you plan on uploading any more replays?
Hi! It's been a bit but i'll try to get some more footage to upload soon :)
It's a shame you don't upload more. I'd love to watch your gameplay.
I've been wanting to, but sadly some other stuff happened along the way. I hope to be able to upload some videos again soon though!
What is your gear here?
Either 3.1 or 3.2 RSU, either 0.2 or 0.3 SSU, 0.2 IA, 0.1 Inkres, 0.1 QSJ and 0.1 Subdef if i recall correctly
