You know its crazy. My MSI gaming trio XTX OC at 3.2ghz with just 10 fans and stays below 66C at all times. I would be interested in watercooling on top of that though.
@@DowsettReviews I got an alphacooler for a Nitro+ Sapphire card and am currently experimenting with thermal pad thicknesses for optimal contact with the waterblock. I got the Eiswolf 2 AIO its less maintenance than the tank systems. Im going to try and push that card to 3.4ghz with 3ghz VRAM clocks which should be interesting. I have already removed the power limit chip on the XTX and resoldered a 500W chip.
Thanks for the video. I was going to get an EK block untill i saw your vidoe. I just got mine and it is beautifull! I think its heavier than my Taichi 7900xtx! Thanks again!
Completed installation with my nitro 7900xtx. Installation is abit tricky. The most frustrating issue is that there are plastic caps on the cold plate side screw hole. I READ the manual before hand-on. It did not mentioned of any removal of the any protective cap before installation. I only found out after the installed PCB is not straight and flat. I hope it did not cause any damage to the PCB. currently i will doing on the hard tubing so not yet fire up to test.
Where's the follow up video?!?! I have this card on order, it's 2 weeks out. Looks really good. I'd love to see it in a build. Trying to decide what pump to go in the build now. Leaning towards the Bykski DDC Pump 220mm Reservoir Station w/ Temp Digital Display cuz they match well together.
@@DowsettReviewsI hear that. Do you know once you put the PCB in the block it still has the beautiful mirror look? I think I'm going to vertical mount the GPU of so. Thanks!
@rvillanu589 the pcb will be underneath so you won't see it and yes will still see the mirror look. I cant wait to get mine installed its gonna look beautiful.
I'm thinking of buying one of these, I can't tell from the pictures online and the video. Are the ports double sided, open on top and bottom for a fittings?
It will be going in a build hopefully soon just had a lot of other videos and projects to do I havent had time with family life as well. Unfortunately this isn't my full time job, I work 60 hours a week as well as doing youtube and have small children so I don't have a lot of time to make videos. I will try and get it done as soon as possible
Ok mate, i just waiting for my block now then im going to swap out my 6800xt with a Vector tuf block on so it should be a quick swap out as i soft tube the loop, o im going to try a new Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet instead of the past. good luck@@DowsettReviews
All the reviewers do the same, they do it in two segments the unboxing then the testing, you should do both at once, i don't wont to see a product then not see how it performs.
My apologies, I can't speak for other reviewers however the reason I do it is because due to family and work commitments I don't have a lot of time to make videos and even less time to do a full custom loop straight away so I like to show the product so people can get a better look at it first and then I will do the water cooled build when I have time. I know it has been a long time but I'm still finalising how I want to do the build and will hopefully be doing it soon. I kinda wanna wait for 9800x3d to be released and use that as this will be my main gaming rig and probably won't be upgraded for a while after this. Hope you can understand.
@@DowsettReviews Algood but if you can test that water block when you have time that would be grate as no one has tested that block that i can find on TH-cam.
That's a gorgeous GPU block dude. Look forward to seeing on the XTX RD
It is aint it. I'm hoping to get it done soon. Can't wait.

Yeah my red devil doesn't get hot at all really but I'm still gonna water cool it

@@DowsettReviews The 50W upper max wattage difference shouldnt negatively affect thermals since eiswolf cooled AMD products generally only reach 60C
@flitai wow that's brave. Let me know how it goes

No problem thank for watching. Its lovely isn't it. Still haven't got around to installing mine. Hopefully soon
Epic I'll try this one day you can get more epic overclocking from this + it looks awesome

So i just got my vertical GPU mount for my O11D and it only leaves 50mm underneath for a radiator and fans so I will go horizontal :/
Get an AIO as you wont have to maintain nor worry about a devastating leak or failure.
Wonderful block! No wonder EK is having problems, their pricing is ludicrous and they don't understand they have rivals
I thought that when I saw them having issues.
I'm thinking of buying one of these, I can't tell from the pictures online and the video. Are the ports double sided, open on top and bottom for a fittings?
Yes they are double sides
I got mine in and i seem to be missing a thermal pad and them being in Germany is making communication really fun
Oh no best check mine still haven't got around to using it. Got a lot of videos to do so I have to put my personal rig on hold
@DiddyReviews I saw the one I was missing in your vid so you're not missing that one
@roborat cheers buddy good to know
Hi) What is the total thickness of the finished "sandwich" with the 7900xtx inside? 37-38mm?
No idea I haven't installed it yey
Thanks ofr the vid, but we need to see how good it is in a system , and under load (steel nomad 3dmark)

@stevet3217 just a heads up I think those kryosheets are electrically conductive so be careful.
