Oh I'm right there with you. I haven't ever opened bowman, but being poor sucks. We love to see him open though!really gives us a look at stuff we'll be able to get one day!
I miss the days of $150-$200 jumbo boxes. $600-$700 now? No thanks. It’s becoming stupid and these companies love it.

Cards are also selling for a lot more than they used to. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Getitright you are right im.confused on why people keep paying rising prices for these box while the entire market has been tanking consistantly for the last 2 years and has shown no signs of the decline ending.People must be having a hard time realizing the bubble has popped

Bought a blaster today and pulled a 1st Bowman paper Green /99 (position player), and 2 other #'d cards - one of them a purple wave /299 that's on thicker card stock - super nice!

LOL. Get a new hobby then my dude. I agree $600 is too much but unless I missed some serious sarcasm $60 is just... no. Should be around $300 for a jumbo.
@Rob Camp no. I just don't buy overpriced packs. In several years I'll come in and buy all the cards I like from 2023 after all of them drop by 10k%. This is how I have been collecting for a long time.

I never have understood the disdain for pitchers. I would think that position players flame out just as frequently as pitchers. Personally I like to collect pitchers who are flying under the radar. It’s a crapshoot I know, but at least it’s a lot easier on my wallet. 😅

Beltre is a guy with exceptional fundamentals, and an extremely strong work ethic, signed for 2.3 million in 2021, so the talent is definitely there as well he is a high floor kind of guy.
Just to put this in perspective, that jackson holiday goes for $137, and that box is $600 SMH

I love Bowman....but for $700 a Jumbo I'll just buy the card I like. Insane prices and the print run is to the moon. Grab Blasters then hangers you get more bang for your buck
The best thing about this rip was that the cards were all the same direction. Guess you have to pay $650 for that extra quality haha. Great pulls
I think a major problem is many people are going over their limit of 5 per customer which leads to it selling super quick as you said. I think most of us unless you’re traveling to card shows and whatnot don’t know ton of adult card collectors because most are adults and busy working. So it makes absolutely no sense how they sell out so quick unless it’s idiots that buy to resell. Get a real job.
$600-700 pass! Much better to take that money and buy slabs and singles of proven vets and solid rookies already in the league

It was sold out before it went on sale. I got an email from Topps saying that the catds go on sale Wednesday. It was all gone by noon. Tuesday. 😮😲☹️🤔
