I Was There. I was so happy when he signed like all 10 things me and my freind had. Its Was great meeting him to because he inspired to become a novelist. i told him that but then i got a little nervours XDhe told me to relax and i almost fainted HAHA, Hes Such A Nice guy.
These acoustic versions are probably the most amazing things I've ever heard in my entire life...I wish I lived near somewhere he was doing an acoustic show. /sigh Claudio, you are my God.
This is a great example of how Coheed & Cambria's music can sound both loud and heavy as well as slow and deep. I would enjoy it if they released an acoustic album of their best work. This is dynamite.
Because I imagine when you're 5 feet from someone like claudio, who is pouring his heart out during the song, people pick up on the energy and it extends in the form of a supportive shout.
It isn't the same as their tracks, but that isn't to say it is bad. Just different. I have always enjoyed every aspect of Coheed, and I truly hope when I see them live they will have the instrumentals as close to the tracks as possible. If not, who cares? I'M SEEING COHEED!
@JustLemonade Yeah my big problem with Year of the Black Rainbow was just how muddled some of the mixes were, like they threw too much stuff in and sacrificed some of the catchiness of their older albums. This proves that the songs themselves are great.
...(cont)... thought it was a different coheed acoustic vid. Same principle applies, the solo acoustic guitar is there for a reason, not to be shouted over.
@CoKilgannon If you think In the Flame of Error is bad, there's something wrong with your thinker. Replace that with Radio Bye Bye, and get rid of The Road and the Damned, and your list looks a little better.
@jonsamuthafucka When Skeletons Live, The Road & the Damned, The Black Rainbow, In the Flame of Error in my opinion. All the others are incredible though, 4 out 60+ songs ain't bad ;D But I still wouldn't skip them if I was listening to the albums, I just think they're weak songs
Thanks. It's a shame because most people can feel emotion without needing to scream over the music but if you can't then I'm sure many would appreciate you declining to emote during the concert.
When I first heard this song on the album I didn't like the studio version much at all. I almost thought Coheed had written another bad song (one of VERY few), but then I heard this version and it became one of my favourite songs on the album. The song was amazing, but the production ruined it :(
because then it's not rude. but they still wanna go crazy but it'd be rude to just shout while he's singing. bands love that shit lol though it is quite annoying to others, especially acoustic XD
...a supportive shout which ruins it for many others listening to the same heartfelt masterpiece who don't want to hear some dumb primitive shriek interrupt it just because there are temporarily no vocal parts to the song. It's awful how those people only seem to care about the vocals, do they not think the other musicians' work is important? Be quiet while they're still playing. I like every part of the song, not just the vocals.
Can you believe this guy? Ridiculous amount of talent, Claudio your a genius...

this song attracted me . unique vocals . artistry.
coheed should be packing arenas to capacity, it's a shame more people aren't familiar with how amazing they are

This song tears me up everytime. So fits my life and marriage

Yeah next concert I go to I will just stand there with no emotion while they play.

@osostewie2
You get older, and sometimes you get fatter. He still looks in pretty good health. Whatever it takes to keep performing.
@irascib1e wrong

Is it just me or could Claudio go solo....

Black Rainbow - weak? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. However, in this case, your opinion is wrong. You're still entitled to it though.
Why do people feel the need to shout "wooo" and other stupid things in between the lyrics?
...a supportive shout which ruins it for many others listening to the same heartfelt masterpiece who don't want to hear some dumb primitive shriek interrupt it just because there are temporarily no vocal parts to the song. Damn he really put on some pounds :/
