It’s so good to be back! I find it so hard to find the balance between working and filming but camera should be here where I get back 🤩 so going to try and do more filming 🤞
Greetings to you both from the Dandenong Ranges Victoria, and thankyou for an enjoyable exploration of the woods! So envy your freedom!! Look after yourselves! 👣🦘🦜🌻🍀
Where is that place? I’ve never heard of it before. Aww thank you 🤩 I’m so glad you enjoyed!! Freedom to some extent! I still work 😂😂 thank you and look after yourself too, hopefully you enjoy our next adventure
@@Chelsea.mariexo The Dandenong Ranges is a beautiful place about 45 km south east of Melbourne. Check out Sherbrooke Forest and Olinda on Google 🌎. I'll be watching more of your channel. X
It’s something I’ve not had for two years so I’m sure happy that I have one again 🤩 I have found that a fully metal van doesn’t hold the heat as well as I though it would 😂😂 next opening windows in the back to help air flow
@@Chelsea.mariexo Insulation makes all the difference but the more you add the smaller you space becomes. I think a lot of heat is lost through the windows. Yes, make sure you have that air flow or the fire will have all of your oxygen! 🙂
I never really thought about the fire taking all the oxygen tbh! Yeah I’ve insulated really well other than the floor 😂 yeah windows are a pain 😂 but I think once my roof is on and the sliding door is carpeted it will hold so much more heat
Its nice to see a young woman appreciate an older, more reliable van. Although would you and your dog prefer a 3.5 ton small bus converted into a hippie van?
@@sim6699 we did have a mk1 LT3.5 that was our favourite as it was a box van 🤩 but I’m looking for another one for soon, I’d love a old school bus… I love my VW but they are too small… so looking at old school mercs and bedfords 🤩🤩
@@train8459 it is indeed 🤩 it all depends on the power your solar brings in and how big of battery’s you have plus the size of your inverter…. I never thought id have enough power for it but @rustyroseadventures helped me find the right one for my set up… maybe ask him? Although I can’t run both hobs at full power at the same time, which you never really do anyways but it’s better than gas and I don’t have to worry about gas although I want a gas oven as rusty rose has a electric oven in his van and can’t use it over winter as it draws to much power, for the amount of electricity he brings in for the winter but best bet is to find rusty rose adventures on instagram or Facebook and ask him/ tell him what set up you have and I’m sure he will be willing to help you find one that’s perfect for your set up
I have 2 vans at the moment and I also watch rusty all the time he recently as you know went back to Anglesey which is close to where we are to rebuild his engine etc my 2nd van is a non runner and I was going to ask him to rebuild it for me with his contacts but unfortunatly he is back in Scotland so shame for me but I will send him a message as I am really curious how he does the electric hob. I thought I had a good set up with electrics solar etc no way I could power an electric hob hence why we went with gas anyways me and the wife always watch your and rusty vids as we also love Scotland but for me its a winter destination "midgies" have fun and enjoy
@@train8459 I’ve just passed my beloved T4 that I’ve had for years!! Well Ben the person who was helping max he is around Anglesey and works for himself helping people with vans!! He should have a Facebook marketplace ad. Ops sorry that would be my fault max is back 😂😂 but hey I would always ask him to help build because he is a travelling van builder 🤭 never know better to ask then to not as he might come down to build it!! But aye he’s really good at that sort of thing! I’ve got a 410w solar panel and two batteries but couldn’t tell you what the hell they are 😂😂 oh we have been so so very lucky this year!! The only time I’ve seen midgies this year was may and one day when we was over on Knoydart but got it’s like maybe one or two bites when I have seen them! Nothing like what the internet says this year!! But then again it’s never really that bad!! But again we have had winter weather all summer 🤦♀️😂 thank you very much and hopefully we will pass each other on our travels ☺️
