Best guide for using AI so far, however is there a way to maintain the same character looks on the next scene to prompt?
Thanks! The only way I know of to do that is to generate images of consistent characters using an Ai image generator, and then use image-to-video to get consistent characters across different videos. I have a tutorial on how to generate images of consistent characters in Midjourney here: th-cam.com/video/RPxEg7irwAA/w-d-xo.html @@nathanieldancel887

Really cool video. Helps a lot. Pika really should put the download button and the delete button in further away from each other. But the improvements are amazing
Thanks! Yeah that would help, it's nice that the delete button asks you to confirm though.
Very useful, thanks for sharing,It is a kind of enjoyment to watch the dance on the dance homepage and create animations over and over again.
It has improved quite a bit, especially with human motions.

Randomly got this video recommended. Good intro to this tool! Subscribed. Hope you can share tutorial videos for all free AI tools. Is there any free AI tool which we can use to remove the logo in these videos?
Thanks for subbing! I'm glad you liked this guide. I've heard other people using HitPaw to remove watermarks, although I haven't tried it for myself.
Hey i have a question. Can I use the videos i generate for my youtube videos(and monetize them?). I have the basic plan($8/month). Shoukd I upgrade to the $58 plan as it's the only one qith commercial license
I'm not sure as far as commercialization, I would contact their team and ask for clarification.
hi Tao, a quick question: I uploaded a clip of real human, but PIKA results generating a cartoon style video(which I don't what, I need to keep the 'real' human himself)
, how I need to revise the prompts?
What are you trying to change about the image? The background? As far as I can tell only the video inpainting (modify region) keeps the original video and just modify's the part of the video you select.
If you're using video-to-video it will repaint the entire frame.
exactly, I was trying to remodel the background...Now I get a sense...thx
@@taoprompts
good stuff.
Thank you
I just used Pika and was wondering, can we keep the video we create with the "Basic Plan" ? The three that I made are not in my library.
You should be able to see them, I have the basic plan and I can see videos I've generated in the my library tab. Did you try refreshing your page?
hey - thanks for this good tutorial, wasn't ware yet of the "negative promt" thing. but - I always get a zoom in into the picture. how can I get rid of this?
You could try using a negative prompt and put "zoom in" in there, so it tries to avoid zooming in.
Hi Tao, I uploaded a cartoon picture of a girl standing that was created in Midjouney. I wanted her to walk, but when I put the prompting, she wouldn't walk, she just continues to stand there. Any suggestions? Thank you if you can!
So I would say this will work better if the cartoon picture you upload has a character who is in the middle of walking already. This will give the Ai some more help in terms of animation.
thx for the video , quick question is there a way to create consistency videos(characters)?
The best way to do that is to use an image generator to create photos of consistent characters and then animate them.
is there a way to continue your video story kind of like how people do with chat gpt images? the dog walks, then he enters a haunted house and then final scene he sees a ghost dog (example).
Do you mean aside from the "Add 4s" feature? You can always try "add 4s" and then inside the prompt change things up like, "the dog enters a house". But if you want a complete video in "one shot" that will be hard to do. You can always use an Ai image generator to generate images for a story that are consistent.
Hi. May I know what is the maximum number of hours or seconds of video that I can make if I subsribe for their STANDARD package?
I'm not sure, when I made this video Pika labs was totally free. It typically takes multiple tries with the same prompt to get a good video and all the other features like video extension all cost credits, so it's hard to know exactly how many videos you can get out of the standard package.
thanks for the video bro it's ultra ussefull ! despite that, we only have 100 credits now it's like 2 or 3 video then we can't creat more and everything you explain can't be used like extending and using all the tools :(
Yes it looks like they added in a subscription play unfortunately, let's hope they add more credits to the free tier for people to try.
Thank you for your video. Can you recommend the system configuration, PC hardware for this jobs?
For Pika Labs, all the computation is done on their end, so you don't need any thing except a web browser.
Do you know if you can create a boomerang or repeating video on Pika?
Do you mean a looping video. I don't think so, you can use flow frames for that. Here's a video tutorial I have. th-cam.com/video/pwWriaYCdg4/w-d-xo.html
I show how to get looping videos at 2:34
pika is always zooming in on my images. how can I fix that? Also how can I enter only a certain part to be moving in my first prompt?
In the negative prompt if you add "camera zoom, camera motion" does that help?
I don't think Pika has fine grained control yet, if you want to animate only a specific part of your image, RunwayML has a motion brush tool which can accomplish that.
How can i use the same character for different scene in a movie with pika? Please any response will be apprecited
To get consistent characters in Ai video generators, the only way I know of is to generate Ai Images of the same character first, then use image-to-video to animate them. Here's a guide I have on consistent characters in Midjourney: th-cam.com/video/RPxEg7irwAA/w-d-xo.html
I have a question. I know it is free, but can I use it for commercial use? Like in game or movie? Thanks for response
I'm not sure about that, you'd have to contact their team on discord or twitter to check.
How do I get the same characters in each video despite using seeds that appear different?
The best way to get consistent characters is to get images of them and then animate it in video (image to video). It's hard to get consistent characters from just the Ai video generator.
I have a guide for consistent characters in Midjourney here: th-cam.com/video/RPxEg7irwAA/w-d-xo.html
Did you contacted their team can we use pikalabs videos for commercial use like for youtube ?
Here are the terms of service: pika.art/terms-of-service
I believe depending on the subscription plan you have, you can use it commercially.
Hi bro, I am trying but it tells me that i have to get a monthly plan to use it properly, I cant extend and upscale. Am I missing something? Thanks ;)
They have added a subscription plan since I posted this video. It used to be free, but now you have to pay for a subscription to access all the features.
@@taoprompts I was wondering that 🙈
I wanted to learn to use it for comercial purposes but I think that’s the most expensive plan 😏
Thanks a lo for you reply and the videos you do bro!! 😎
What is that soundtrack playing on the background?
At which time in the video?
All i get are stills that pan and zoom or like just certain parts of the image move like a car spins its wheels but is just suspended in place. And it's way too long to generate, 3-5 times a minute each just not even to get anything usable.
Can you try increasing the motion parameter up to 2-4? It depends on specifically what types of videos you are trying to generate. Disney & cartoon styles struggle to get much motion, but pixar style for example has a ton of movement.
My photos to video just the head moves, like that old method of animate photos. Any ideas why?
If you are trying to animate a headshot, it will be hard to get that much motion. If you have full body shot photos, or photos with more context like the piano player I showed or a person doing some other activity, you'll be able to get more motion.
You can also try changing the camera motions and the motion parameter to see if that can give it some more movement.
@@taoprompts yes, finally i realised that moving that camera gives a more natural result! thanks a lot for reply!
Hey Tao, thanks for this great video, so helpful. Need your help with a problem. I tried Pika 1.0 the image for video, I used kid book illustration graphic for a scene, I wanted to have a fixed shot with only the leaves and tress moving a bit, however, tried more than 50 times with different prompts, such as fixed shot, standstill, -camera no motion, motion 0 etc... Pika always give me a zoom in video. How to fix this do you have any clue?
Hey, I think Pika does tend to zoom in, a lot of other people have had a similar problem. I don't know any good solutions for that atm. You could always try RunwayML with their motion brush, I'm planning to make a tutorial for that soon.
Hi Tao, yes, I've tried a lot ways but it didn't work out with Pika. Eventually I turned to Runway, the motion brush. It helped a lot though, I feel all these tools work better with more HD and realistic shots rather than animation graphics, do you feel the same way? I'll keep trying and I look forward to your Gen-2 tutorial. Have a great day~@@taoprompts
Yes I think most of the data they train on are more "real life" videos as opposed to anime or animation style ones. But yeah the more realistic videos definitely work better in general.@@jfsololife
