Thank you for sharing this wonderful story. I remember watching it late 1961 with my grandmother thanks for the memories. I understand now why so many women back then went to see the movie. 😊 Lovely and sad love story.
She spoke seven languages including Hungarian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, English and one other I can't remember but it was not Italian. So to answer your question she was dubbed in this movie but, may I say, very well matched in vocal tone. 👍
@@billgreen1861 I would agree. I'm always intrigued by who does their own dubbing in another language and who doesn't. It's my understanding that. Claudia Cardinale never spoke English in any film she was ever in (even some of her early Italian films) meaning she was dubbed in around 35% of her filmography....and as for Zsa Zsa, the dubber DOES resemble her voice! It's distractingly laughable when they DONT! 😄
@@maestroclassico5801 That is very Interesting about, Claudia Cardinale, in that I always thought she was a real Italian actress, so I never suspected she was dubbed. Thanks for sharing that information.
@@billgreen1861 Yes but she spoke Italian with a heavy French accent. She was raised in TUNISIA so she could speak FIVE LANGUAGES...but her early films even dubbed her Italian. I will edit my previous comment she DID do her own voice in later films.
@johnzugg8340 You can turn on the subtitles by clicking on the video settings ⚙, and selecting english from the drop down menu. But yes you are right this is some rare Italian cinema... we try to find some obscure films for all our film buffs!
Love , Amedeo Nazzari! But, he was. Much older here ! That was probably his last movie! 😅: The movie , was ..,terrible! I, like to be honest ,ok ! Please show better “ newar” movies! Bruno!
Visto 10 minuti...

Doctor cyclops please 😊😊
The closed captions for Italian could do with some improvement. Calling people "it" just doesn't cut . . . it.
Is zsa zsa actually speaking Italian or is she dubbed? It does kind of sound like her!
