  • In this potent and beautiful discourse, Amoda Maa describes how the "me"-identity forms itself by interpreting and interfering with experience. She then invites a softer gaze upon reality that allows an undoing of the prison of "me" and a falling back into the open spaciousness of awareness. She also talks about how we can live from this perspective and knowing in everyday life. (Taken from the 6-day "Living Fully Awake" IN PERSON retreat in Zion, Utah, November 2023).
Amoda Maa offers a profound invitation to all those who wish to embody the truth of awakened consciousness in the midst of everyday life. Her teachings are free of any ideology and are not affiliated with any lineage or tradition. And yet the luminous truth expressed through these teachings is the same nondual understanding at the core of many spiritual traditions. Amoda Maa’s teachings are expressed in a contemporary language, thereby cutting through millennia of patriarchal structure and making them relevant and accessible to all people from all backgrounds and cultures.

Yes. Presence is the key. Also the ability to be silent is another key which is really the same movement. The recognition of this non -duel awareness, however is like an entry into a much vaster world when trauma is also unveiled. Human suffering doesn’t go away with presence. It may actually become more intense if you become more honest. The world’s suffering is everyone’s. Those of us who had relatives in war zones or even friends that have recently died will experience this suffering more intensely. This does not make you take sides or necessarily try to end the suffering. You simply see it because you are it. The strange thing is that the one who has suffered even more has a lighter load. They know how to laugh. Maybe that is why I never entirely trust the one who cannot laugh. Something is not being seen. Some trauma is still being veiled. For laugher to come it must be released.

I dont know who the i is.
Im very self aware, so i know how the i is/wants to be, (loving/caring, so on). But im not even the i
Is there something im getting wrong?
Even say 'i getting wrong' is not me
    🫠🤷🏽

it depends on how the teams are being used but what you are describing is all mind. The desire to be good is the seperate me but the behaviour/thoughts happening through your body mind becomming more that way naturally is a sign of veils falling away. The real I is just aware and also drives life happening, the 'me' is a wrong identification bc we feel we are doing these things, thinking those ideas. See if you actually come up with thoughts or just aware and then believing it yours and says something about you
