I had the most amazing collection of vintage lace like none other, so many things even more than any of this I had collected for years and I lost it when my home burnt to the ground. I have seen a lot of Angie's creations and I have to say the little paper bag journal has to be my favorite. The little pictures of the children with their sheep were the sweetest. Her layering is incredible. I would love to see her lace stash wouldn't you? Thanks for sharing your treasure with us.

Heather, I was so excited to hear you read Mary Elizabeth's last lines to her Benjamin! The words "May the Lord bless us and keep us while we are away one from the other" are represented by the word "Mizpah." My grandmother wrote "Mizpah" below her signature line in all her notes and letters, as did my mother after her...as do I. I recently learned of a cousin who adds "Mizpah" to her letters, as well. She would surely have seen it written on letters from the same grandmother and from her own mother, who was my mother's older sister. (A Google search will confirm.) Thank you for sharing!

Angie work is incredible. Thank you for sharing with us. It inspires me as I start my first journal. I have just spent yesterday dying tea and coffee paper and fussy cutting an old new zealand diary of a nz garden with lovely flowers in it both black and white an colour. I'm using the hard cover to create my own journal. And using my family history research pictures etc as epherma. Such a fun time to create. I'm very new at this but I'm enjoying the process. I'm interested in sewing pages and lace as well and have been watching some you tubes for inspiration but ean t to make it my own. So thanks from New Zealand xox Sharon
