    There are way more things than they listed here. Helps heart health, reduces your blood viscosity. Losing blood causes the body to make new Red Blood cells and those cells are softer and less likely to damage vessels. We have all heard about PFAS in the blood, which will be reduced if you get rid of that blood.

    I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse....but I have AB negative type of blood, the rarest of the major blood types, the 1%.
    So I kinda feel like I need to donate regulary....though to be honest I only started after I was around 25+....I'm 42 now.
    The way I heard it, 1 single 'whole blood' donation is turned into 3 'products' which means it can go to 3 seperate people in need.

      It's a blessing because you can do the job that 99% others can not. ❤

    I must admit...i am a regular plasma donater and i do notice the difference after i leave the clinic. For some reason i feel my body is a lot calmer and relax.
    Also i feel after i donate i am giving back because i have struggled alot with money and food and those who have helped me especially strangers.

    If you donate blood at night and then go for a run the next morning, is that OK?

      It's generally considered safe to do light activities after donating blood, such as taking a walk. But its best to avoid doing strenous exercises or heavy lifting for at least 24 hours after donating blood. Also, pay attention to how you feel. if you're feeling light headedness, fatigue, dizziness, or lack of energy, its best to give yourself a proper rest for at least a day!

    I donated plasma for the first time and when I left the facility I had an erection that lasted for two days until I went in for my next donation. When I arrived and laid down for my second donation I explained to the nurse that I had a chubby ever since I had left after the first donation. She immediately turned around and walked away. Another male nurse came and escorted me out of the facility and called me a pervert. He said I was banned from ever donating plasma there again. I will never donate plasma again after this humiliating experience!

      might I ask, can you say it helped with your libido then? and you simply donated once?

    • @Joe-yc4fs
      @Joe-yc4fs ปีที่แล้ว

      Sure, you can ask. It was not a sexual thing for me. I wasn't aroused by the situation. And the second day of the erection was a little painful. And yes, this happened after my first donation. I felt like a sex offender when I left and the nurse called me a pervert.@@EnoughSaid302

      You experienced the rejuvenating effect of dumping old dirty plasma. Your body created fresh young plasma. It works.
