Palisades Campground - Crooked River Oregon

This adventure finds us camping along the beautiful Crooked River in the wild and scenic Chimney Rock area. About 12 miles south of Prineville along the Crooked River you will find about 9 campgrounds for enjoying this wonderful area.
We spent a couple of nights here on the river to try out some boondocking in preparations for a possible trip to Alaska. Trying out or small but useable 210 amp hour lithium battery set up and trying to run our microwave on the generator. Though we did finds that the generator isn't quite big enough for that microwave, so we may need to find a solution before Alaska.
It was a fun trip with great company. Enjoying God's creation with our really good friends, it is hard to beat that.
