I have a lithium battery which comes with the motor, It's a Torqeedo Ultralight 403 electric motor which is equivalent to 1Hp. It doesn't state what pound thrust but the battery will last all day on water depending on how hard you push the motor. At half throttle I'm already at 75% top speed, so going full throttle will only get you a fraction more speed which isn't worth it.
Hi can i ask u some questions about thr kayak? Do u recommend your brand or any recommendations for kayak for inshore and offshore fishing ? I have a boat and interested in kayak fishing as well.
I have only ever owned one kayak and it's this brand and model which is a Hobie Outback 2019 model so I don't have a broad enough experience to recommend other brand or models. I am satisfied with my choice as I believe this kayak is very suitable for inshore and offshore fishing.
