I don’t think it’s an over exaggeration to say that this was the game of the year over Texas vs Oklahoma. I’ll cherish the memories seeing Walker’s historic Heisman performance outside of the Spartan Stadium. It feels great to be a Spartan. Go Green!!💚💚😎

Michigan looked like they were prepared for the game that was played last year, when they were torched in the air. Played well vs the pass on Saturday but ultimately would have held up in that area of the game imo, even if they stacked the line of scrimmage. It's the most physical game they'll play any given year, and last I heard #9 is the Heisman candidate not #10. So many plays and calls could be pointed out that Michigan fans like myself could point to that would have given the game a different outcome, for example the pass interference no call in the fourth (contact was within 5 yards) Ultimately its on Michigan. Sanristil was wide open in the flat on the pick play that went towards Johnson. UM "dropped the ball", plain and simple.
wasn't a PI. Michigan ran a pick play/rub route so contact is expected because the DBs are trying to defend. a ref will never call that on a rub route. sometime this is even called an offensive PI if the other reciever would have made contact.
Cant wait until next year - Spartans will even be greater!

UM looked beat in the 4th qtr. They also looked weak in the 2nd half against Rutgers and UNL. Need to work harder on conditioning.
That said, MSU got all kinds of breaks from the replay officials.
They got breaks because Michigan settled for 4 field goalsdeep in MSUterritory. The purpose of replay isnt to evenly distribute reviewed calls but to make a proper call.
