Funny thing just talking with Milwaukee job site solutions guy this morning about same set up. They also have a platform base the can be permanently mounted in back of vehicle, wall or even inside roof. Tradies use this to secure boxes so they don't slide around, there's even bungy tie down points. Pricey yes but time saved is worth something too. No affiliation have to pay as others do, just doing some product training with the dude.
The whole system is genius, they are literally creating every possible storage box and item that any tradesman could want and making it all with the pack out system. I think it’s such a great idea and range of products
Hi, liked all your videos, my little tough, drill few holes in the bottom of the boxes that will improve air movement greatly, i was using same boxes from dewalt, for a few months, now i back to my back pack, there is another things abour those, they very attractive to bad guys, they think that tools is in it, stay safe😉
Put some desiccant packets, or a “Damp-Rid” (can find them in camping sections at box stores) in each case. It’ll help keep whatever moisture does get in, down to a minimum.
I have a hart brand that i put my climbing gear in tonight i might get the Milwaukee tool set up you have . And switching out my gear into thet next month thanks for sharing
I just updated my storage also but I found a really nice duffel that fits my harness and 200ft of km3 plus all my day to day and a tactical back pack thats loaded with really sturdy daisy chains to clip all my extra biners and other stuff plus 150ft of drenaline
I’ve got this set for my carpenter tools. Fits every tool except my drop saw. I’ve never spent on storage before. It’s great. My gear stays in it all the time. Because of this it only takes be 5mins to load my Ute and head of for a diy project.
The bottom 3 pieces is $280 USD, and were on special sale last Black Friday for $199. That clear top piece is $45, and I have never seen it on a sale price, nor any other pieces of the Pack Out for that matter, ...always at MSRP everywhere. Hopefully, we will see some of the other pieces go on sale this coming Black Friday or Christmas, so I can add to my Pack Out storage set-up without breaking the bank. It's top-notch stuff.
I have been using the ridgid stack sets of rolling boxes for a little over a year now for rigging and extra climbing gear. Works a charm. My only complaint is the handles on every brand ends up being sticky in a few months. Handles are not quite up to par for tree work.
Do you use anything special for you 6mm retrieval line? Also, how long of a line do you use for that retrieval line? I like the idea of the packout boxes - I've been trying to figure out how to store all of my gear and I think I might go this route. I love Milwaukee equipment.
I've just seen yesterday the video of your options for ropes bags... have you just copy and paste it for the initial part? Surely it's heavy duty and well crafted but the price is way too high. I've managed to put access sistem (20mt-65ft) and two work lines drt (35mt-120) whit helmet and ppe in a 70 lt alpine backpack.. 15 kg-33lbs more or less It's good for steps, stairs and wood situations (chestnuts and similar, oak borders)... ⅕ the price. Non stackable, non rigid, non waterproof, just as starting point
I'm not speaking for anyone but myself, but everyone has something that works for them. Hardcases offer more protection than duffel bags, but some stuff doesn't need it. Ropes in a hardcase may be overkill, but things like pulleys and carabiners (hard goods) can benefit. This works for ClimbingArborist, so him sharing may give someone else an idea. But exchanging the ideas is what's important. Your backpack may be a good starting point for someone else, so sharing it is good.
@@mikeremski2102 Exactly, I appreciate him putting it out there for others, and also being willing to learn himself as we respond. When guys get into arguments on the forums about which saw/technique is the best, I like to tell guys "what works for one, doesn't work for everyone".
Awesome organization!!! Yeah here in east TN frickin meth heads would run off with that in a hot second if it wasn't locked down to the truck!!! Love the idea though, going to give it a try! Stay safe, God bless

@@ClimbingArborist Cool! So I'm guessing if you're doing an SRT canopy anchor you just tie it to that anchor (i.e. the quickie or alpine butterfly, instead of using the rest of the rope) to pull it down and out of the tree? Do you happen to know which rope you got? Thanks!
I never comment on ANYTHING, but your pulley on the handle is double genius ! I run a zig zag too and that’s a game changer
Well organised.🙂in the time you have shown us all your gear I would have just about found my harness😃love the videos keep em coming

Very posh! I love the different compartments . SRT is very kit heavy so I can see how this is good. Easy to clean too👍🏼
Really love how you innovate and always think how to make better, easier and safer
Back saver dude 💪🏼😊 keep going 🙏🏼🇬🇧
After 3 years I’m wondering how these are holding up? Still in use? Thanks Dan.
great stuff men, made an order now after some days of thinking after the storage video you did before.

That is awesome!
3 years later, hows the kit holding up? Im a surplus military duffle bag and Allis pack kit , but this seems way easier to organize and load out.

It’s certainly worth the investment for keeping everything organized and easily accessible

Be careful.. Beauty of having all your gear certainly, also means it's easy for some chav to half inch.
We are lucky enough not to have those Chavy types here, but it would disappear pretty sharpish in the U.K. that’s for sure...
@@ClimbingArborist Nice. I moved out to the pacific coast, it's also pretty crime free up in the hills.
Thanks for this video, i was looking for something like this. Can you get also your spurs in a box? And would a protos fit in?
Love it.great job 👍
Great organization 💪
Great idea! Thanks for sharing!! 👍👍🍺
Milwaukee makes tuff stuff.
It’s great quality stuff 👍
Great video and channel - what's the hanging weight device you used to check overall weight? Mentioned something about enforcer?
Rock Exotica Enforcer
Haha thats organised. I like it everythings there. Nice bro
Hey man. The pack outs are on sale right now. Looking to get these. Would ya mind posting the part numbers for each setup?
It’s not a padlock hole it’s for a bar to go down and lock them all together

Olive oil the handles slides.....dissolves the pitch and lubes the track
Can we get an updated pack out kit???
Great content good info thanks
Glad you like it buddy 👍
What are you using to carry tools in the tree the best I've found Is the rock exotica but that thing is tiny
2yrs later what do you like and dislike about this setup?
Love these boxes. Got a new truck so can’t fit the one with the wheels in the new truck which sucks
Fuck! Now I gotta buy this! God damn it

Don't you get black packout in Europe?
I use moving crates.

1:49. I would never be able to afford the stuff in this shot. I’m still working with the Blake hitch. Fuck me, I’m gone.
Nice setup, it will cost me $800 Australian dollars.
Ouch!! That’s not cheap

150ft line, just use something static
