I have used my Gazelle tent in the winter many times. To hold in more heat, I use a MSR 92"×92" footprint and put it over the roof mesh of the tent and tie it down where your guylines connect to each wall. I then add the rainfly. I use the buddy heater and open up some windows. I keep the buddy heater on low and it's plenty warm inside.
V, I ver much enjoyed the video and look forward to the next. I definitely like the way you throw it all out there, the good, the bad, and just honest about it.....the fire. Laughed because you thought it it was funny as well. Authentic! Way to do it and keep it coming.
Hi brother v my name is Billy I love watching camping show you pop up on my tv and I love it well I just want to say. Love it and GOD BLESS you and your family
I have the T4 as well, and in my experience it's not really a warm-weather tent. Even if you open up the flap doors, the mesh weave is so tight, and the windows are so small, that there's not a lot of good airflow and it can get downright uncomfortable if you have to keep the rainfly on. However, I've used it on nights when it got down in the low-mid 30s, and if you have a small heater, it gets pretty toasty after just a few minutes. It's pretty ideal for mid-fall to mid-spring trips when I don't want to spend a lot of time putting my shelter up, and I love the amount of space you get.
Nice gear location and outing…you could run a heating pad or electric blanket from that power supply if you don’t want to run the heater all night. Have fun stay safe.
Good video. If you're going to lug that much gear, you should really get a large jet sled. People even use them deer hunting to drag out deer, even when there is no snow. They work great.
Ha your face when you heard that noise was priceless lol Just used the OneTigris Rock Fortress. First hot tent. Amazing. Hope you get it resolved and are able to enjoy it! Can’t go wrong with that buddy heater either. There’s also an attachment for it that allows you to put a grate on for cooking. Pretty impressive.
I don’t own a 4 season tent so I’ve never gone out camping in the winter, but the gazelle is a really great looking tent. I also love that it’s a pop up. If there’s 3 things I covet from this video it’s your gazelle tent, Mr buddy heater, and Hest mattress!
Great video, I love the cold weather to but don’t get snow where I live unless I drive for 12hrs. You could have used a sled to pull all your gear to camp 😊
Please excuse my ignorance, I haven’t camped out since I was a teenager. I have a question about Mr. Buddy. What is preventing the Carbon Monoxide danger? Love your videos and thanks for your adventures…
You were referred by Luke of The Outdoor Gear Review. He was right. Am a new subscriber and am totally enjoying your vids. However, just curious - why did you lug all that gear down the trail when you coulda just drove it all down? Keep your the good work.
Hello! I wish I could have drove down. Parking for that area stops at the top of the hill where you aren’t allowed to drive past a certain point. Thank you for watching and supporting!!
this is a pretty interesting video i came to your channel vie outdoor gear review i look forward to watching more of your videos i am jonathan from scotland just so you know who your talking too :)
I don't like it when y'all pitch your tent so far away from your truck. If you need to run from a predator you might not make it to your truck. That scares me.
You need to stop saying the same thing as Luke. Try to be more original. Yes you too are buddies but we want to watch something different. Want to see my Cambodian brother succeed in this TH-cam world.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey. Simply love watching you and the joy in your heart for camping. Blessing to you and your family
Thank you, Shirley! Blessings to you and your family as well!
A sled for times like these would be a blessing
I agree…it would have been nice lol. That was a long walk with all that gear! Thank you for watching!

A few folks have suggested this. Not a bad idea! Thank you for watching!
That tent appears to be designed much the same as ice fishing tents, so not surprising it holds heat well.
It did a great job! Thank you for watching!
Great job V. looking forward to more!
Thank you, Paul! I appreciate the support.
Another dope video sir!
I appreciate it my friend! Thank you!

I agree. It’s definitely a great looking tent! More trips testing it out, to follow. Thank you for your support.
Hey V. Thanks for the video. Maybe some interior lights, kinda hard to see what’s going on.
Thanks for the feedback Jason. I’ve purchased a few lanterns/lamps. Thank you!
