Ive been attacked by demons in my dreams before, dozens of times in my life. Calling out to Jesus for help, or just saying his name (in stances where you can't speak in your dream, thinking it to him works too) clears things up real quick! Either they flee or i get pulled out of the dream or i get equipped with a power or way to deal with it in an effortless manor. Im really greatful for his help with this cause ive had very lucid, indepth dreams as well. Tho nothin on drift0r's level. I feel so bad for him having to deal with that for so long! I think he really was being oppressed/haunted by a demon.

However, I know exactly what he’s talking about with the “evil me.” I’ve come face to face with my doppelgänger in several lucid dreams and it’s the scariest shit I’ve ever been through. If you don’t understand why, consider yourself lucky.

I've only lucid dreamed once, what got me conscious in my dream was being naked in a shopping centre, however for once I was able to be logical and determine that I must be dreaming, at that point I was able to conjure my clothes back on to myself. I then spent a while trying to conjure other things (predominantly an anime girl (male) for some high impact sexual handholding) but I couldn't get any of it quite right, so I went to an ikea warehouse and spent the rest of the dream jumping around the shelves and enjoying being invincible. I find it weird since I don't play nearly as much video games as I used to but now more than ever my dreams play out like them, like for instance the most recent one I had my objective was to escort a doctor through a hospital that was infected with last of us style fungus zombies, all I had to do it was a handgun and a crowbar. I went through it about three times, every time this stupid bitch doctor would fall into this fungus and get infected, and then in the third room there was this sort of alien being in a small swimming pool which would use the water like armour when it moved around, the water would catch all the bullets and then it'd catch me and start drowning me. I don't blame people for not believing in others stories about dreams, since dreams are often wildly unrealistic and flights of fantasy, and 90% of my own dreams I don't remember or are incredibly mundane.
I feel like Driftor has seen maybe one or two actual ghosts/demons, but it fucked with him so badly that now he has all these weird dreams and visions that make it impossible for him to tell the difference between real and fake scary stuff. There's only been one time in my life where I saw something like that as a kid and to this day I can't be certain of what the cause was, everything else was just sleep paralysis, bad dreams, or sleep deprivation making me see things that aren't there.

Yeah, its pretty surreal that he is talking about this process but through dreaming. It makes sense in a fucked way, you are way more connected to your sub conscious in dreams than in waking reality so the act of "eating" or absorbing it in the dream is surreally symbolic.
Dude I'm in constant action movies in my dreams. Like zombies to government hunting me down, to fighting this shapeshifting vampire kungfu master and so for whatever reason my very good martial arts is barely making him sweat or hurting him. Haven't had those in a while but it's both stressful and fun, like sometimes I'll be laughing in Glee as im jumping roof to roof with a hoard of zombies following but setting off my traps lol.

I’ve had very similar dreams to driftor , not that intense or crazy but it was always the same . I would fall asleep with my back towards the door and I would “ wake up “ in my dream in the same position . I could feel a presence behind me ,so much so that I would try to turn around but I was never able to as if I was paralyzed . This whole time In the dream I’m aware that I’m dreaming so I try to wake myself by screaming but no scream came out the only noise I would here was a light groan which I’m fairly sure was me irl actually making the noise . If the “scream” manages to wake me up there was like a 50% chance of it just sending me back to the same place . Eventually I would train myself that when I actually woke up I would sit up as fast as possible so I don’t fall back asleep .
I don't dream often due to sleep deprivation from IBS/asthma both cause me to wake up quick from the ibs and also quick wake up from low oxygen levels when sleeping from asthma (when that happens I can't sleep until 3 hours later when the O2 levels come back up and stabilize). Probably all the medical marijuana I use doesn't help but the common two trends of my dreams tend to be randomly confusing. The other is pure dopamine release from being in a meadow with my first love, that one never leaves use. Love the second one, but knowing human biology makes me wonder if their just my brain thinking I'm suffocating so it's releasing death chemicals, usually only happens before being woken up 4-5 hours in. When I was sober I would hallucinate from how little sleep I got, first I saw the shine of Jesus's shadow on holy ground and being a teenager in highschool I drank/smoked to solve my problem, a year later when stone cold sober I started to to see obviously dead calvery units hunting me into a alot of dead ends, also dead birds are a common trop of my hallucinations. Just realized this while writing/watching about dreams, thanks for this realization for my self. 💚
I went through a short period of sleep paralysis where the old hag would get on my chest, happened 4-5 times over 2-3 weeks, read on a forum to tell it to go to god and got to the light. Did this the next time and it was sucked into a white ball of light in the room. Never happened again.

I can sympathize with the dreams of going back to high school or college. And I'm unprepared for the courses and I'm all alone with none of the friends I remember. And I'm at my current age which leads to a degree of shame.
I personally have had some very vivid nightmares seeing demons, shadow figures etc, So much the point that friends of mine are legitimately interested, and sometimes actually fascinated by the stories I sometimes bring back.
LIke Kyle, I always have a dream where I have to defend my home from intruders, and its sooo hard to pull the trigger. By the time I can pull the trigger, I've already been shot in the gut. Every single time its in the gut and I can feel it. Weird shit
Ive also experienced extremely low velocity of the rounds to the point where they miss cause whatever i was shooting at isnt in the path of the bullet anymore.

Just get a dream journal and document. I have the same kind of dreams but ive learned to recognize when theyre dreams.
Also i enjoy the nightmares. Good way to get through some real world problems or struggles without real world consequences
