That's my conclusion. The two candidates with the greatest chance to win are both horrible. The literal only reason that we're in this mess is that the DNC forced Biden on us rather than letting the primary voters make the decision. They rigged Iowa against Bernie and then Clyburn delivered SC to Biden.
If they were going to swap out, the time would have been months ago and at this point, I'm not even sure if Bernie could save them from themselves.

The government is a monopsomy in that situation, so they can set reasonable prices.
Consumers notably cannot do that with healthcare. If you don't get treatment, it is detrimental to your health or you might even die, so the market will charge ridiculously high prices.
