The Incapability to import food is a new one.
The need to reorganize the food chain is more than necessary. Not only are we not creating values, we're also not creating employment in the value chain. There are lacunas that we should work on as a country. The current mode operandi lacks the effectiveness requires. The quality and quantity is not adequate simply because the structures that are meant to make them work are non existent. We cannot be importing food otherwise we'll lose control both in terms of quality and quantity. We need to reinvent the way we do things.
Nigeria is a nation of intellectuals and hard working people, let us work at our problems. We need to move on to the next level. Even to date, our food composition is nothing to write home about. A bowl of rice with ten grams of meat or chicken or any protein is not enough to make anyone healthy. For the children, many other things comes to play. There's not enough of milk for growing children, not enough of protein for anyone at all. Vegetables missing, fruits are rottening and inaccessible. We beed to change the way we do things rather than criticising. China is over a billion people but when you look at theeir dinning table when earing, the meals are extraordinarily complete. So, rhetorics alone will not help.
NIGERIAN FOOD PROBLEM: LACK OF INTERNAL MASSIVE INTERNAL AGRICULTURAL FOOD PREPERATIONS, POSITIVELY SERIOUS FOWARD THINKING LEADERSHIP AND MASSIVE RIDDING OF FINANCIAL CORRUPTION.
