Tom was married to his wife from 1957 until her death in 2016 and he has stated she was the love of his life and he never felt the same about anyone else even though he did have affairs during their marriage. Temptation was always there and the role of sex idol to women was part of his persona and made him millions through record sales and concert tours.
I love Tom jones I'm from the UK he still has an amazing voice today at the age of 84 Tom jones was also good friend with Elvis presley they spent alot of time together in Las Vegas when they both had shows there and on holiday in Hawaii
He was not the greatest husband, he cheated constantly throughout his marriage, which damaged his wife and her self esteem. I don’t know why she stayed with all of that betrayal, love can only make you put up with so much. I would have been long gone, no matter who he was! He may say she was the love of his life but he didn’t treat her that way!
If you can cheat constantly on someone, that is not love. If she was the love of his life, cheating would have never happened. Great singer, but Karma actually got him because he has no idea what real love is and now he will never actually experience it.
They got married at a young age, when he wasn't famous or anything.

My mom and her identical twin loved him. They went to one of his concerts and got kisses and he used their handkerchief to wipe his sweat. They came home after the concert and cut the hanky in two. My mom still had it 35 years later! 😂❤
My twin sister and I saw Elvis twice. Third row the second time. My sister tried like crazy to kiss him but I just looked at him. He was ELECTRIC. Tom Jones tried to be the British version of older Elvis. My mother LOVED Tom Jones and she was old. lol....

Hey guys, I’m 92 years old and I still love seeing Tom Jones mostly this song. I think he’s as cute as a bug. He’s 84 years old now and still have a wonderful voice but yes he stayed married but he had affairs like hundreds of them.!!

As with Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt", there was more restraint in Tom's 80 year old vocals. But at same time more wisdom behind the delivery of the words.
And, we knew Lonnie was dead by that time. But, here was his son, Peter, trying out on "The Voice", with the man who sang Lonnie's song.

Tom Jones is now a coach on “The Voice” from Great Britain. He is 81 years old now. He doesn’t shake it up anymore but he can still sing! He is Sir Tom Jones now. He really made that backbone slip like no other! He philandered in his younger days. But his wife stayed with him even though he was a naughty boy. I saw Tom Jones 5 straight years in the '70s in Vegas. The things that would happen on stage when women would run over to him and do more than kiss him. He was quite the performer and the communication between him and his audience was amazing. That's why people would come back year after year to see him. In fact, there were flights every year with 747s filled with fans from Japan to see him.
BTW, he was married throughout his whole musical career. His wife died a few years back and she went through all his purported affairs as well . She was always there to support him all the way.

That was how we moved in the day, Mrs. BP. There are vids on YT of an old TV show, "Laugh-In". It was a hip, psycodelic, skit-based variety show. An on-going skit was a dance party where everybody was dancing just like this. They would freeze, there would be a joke, then start dancing again. The actress Goldie Hawn got her start as a bikini wearing, body painted, go-go dancer.

On the "packing", During a Howard Stern show interview, Elvira before her fame, was a Las Vegas dancer and a virgin. Tom Jones took her home and got busy. His size was painful to her and caused some damage, then he called a cab to take her to the emergency room to be treated. I heard it live on the radio when she did the interview. Howard of course couldn't believe he didn't take her, nope called a cab like it happens all the time. LOL

Tom Jones is still full of life, rockin' arenas, entertaining throngs, and still has those incredible pipes! The extent of the moves shown in his early days necessarily are not part of his deliveries today, but the man still has swag in aces. Slight correction to your comment, though. Tom is not 80. The Welsh wonder will be 85 in June (Tom was born in 1940)! That makes it all the more stunning 😍! He is a true performer, legendary professional, and amazing talent, who when he sings puts his vocal gifts, experience, heart, soul, and whole being into what he gives an audience.🎵

My mom loved Tom Jones. The women in the audience would throw their underwater on the stage. This was his TV show so I'm sure they wouldn't allow that but his Vegas shows were wild.

Saw Tom 14 times in concert ... what a voice ! His style was very raw and bold without the emotional nuances that Elvis had ... Tom and Elvis were good friends who even vacationed together and Tom is still friends with Priscilla ! Tom was known for his very flirtatious , sexy style and we all loved it LOL ! He's in his 80's and still singing and sounding the same , just not moving quite as much LOL !

He sings in the style of Wilson Pickett. His dance moves were way beyond what Elvis did. Listen to him sing "I'll Never Fall in Love Again" or "The Green Green Grass of Home". They are ballads and show his range.
I saw an interview where Tom said when he started out, he wanted to be like Wilson Picket. It must have been so exciting for him to get to sing with Wilson on his show.
Elvis had the moves, but Tom Jones was a lot younger when he started dancing like this. I loved Elvis dancing/performing more.

This was a slow day for Tom. Only three or four kisses. Then again it was only one song. The show ran from 69-71. You can tell by the go go dancing. He was married for 59 years. He married l**da(still can't type that word. It's my ex wife's name) Trenchard in 1957. We weren't as uptight about kissing and other things in the 60s - 80s. It's sad. We fought a sexual revolution and this generation is more uptight now than the repression we fought against then. Tom Jones kissing was nothing compared to Richard Dawson from the original Family Feud in the 70s. You should look that up

My mother knew this 60-70-ish year old woman that traveled around seeing him, as well as his Vegas shows. They knew her so well that she would get these VIP passes to go back and see him at most places. She shared with my mother that he padded his britches, but apparently was really open about it with his VIP fans ... they just all thought it was a big hoot. This was in mid 70's.
