So why in tarnation can't the cartridge be refilled at least one or two times with insulin. I think you might notice pretty quickly if there was a puncture or leak.
Hey Tom, You can - tis very easy I've posted a video a couple of years ago showing what to do - heck I don't even disconnect from the pump when doing it Basically top up / refill the cartridge, start the reload process (required for the pump to recognise the change of volume) When you get to the priming of 10+ u, BEFORE pressing the Start button, dislodge the cartridge, and now press Start Since the cartridge is not in place, it can't push any insulin down the tubing (which is full, so no need to push any down) When the count approaches 10u, have the cartridge almost ready to push back into place and press Stop. Wait 1/2 a moment for the display to change to STOPPING FILL (which shows for about 5 seconds) during which you then push it into place, and complete the process Done 👍
