Once you have the chance to but and drive a CJ, you will never want to drive anything else at all!! Especially if you have a Decent CJ7! They have just a bit better ride than the shorter CJ5 and are just completely different than anything else on earth but completely special also! I had to sell mine last year and I miss it every day and it won’t be long before I get another one or build one from the ground up. You can get bout every part to build a complete CJ online either aftermarket or original/NOS.
I hope you find what your looking for out there! There’s just nothing like the original jeeps!! I’ve got 3 Grand Wagoneer’s also and man oh man, are they a joy to drive also!!
Good luck my friend, and welcome to the Jeep family!! Take care and be safe out there wherever you’re at!!

My first new vehicle was a 1980 Teal Blue CJ5 Renegade with blue denim bucket seats, rag top & matching roll bar padding. I sold it to my former brother in law & have regretted it every day since. Winters were miserable but spring, summer & fall with the top & doors off were the best. If I had only known 25 years ago how rare & valuable that Jeep would become.
