The devs have expressed enthusiasm in remaking the game with all the cut content included to make it the most complete experience it can be. They sent Vicarious/Activision a letter congratulating them on N. Sane Trilogy's success while offering to be brought onboard to remake Twinsanity into the game it was truly meant to be.
It’s cool how you used that animation in the final game where N. Brio launches Crash off the iceberg. Also this is really interesting, how that much was changed because it needed to come out for the holiday season of that year. I hope this game can get remade in its intended glory.
I gotta say, It's amazing how a game made 15 years ago _still_ has a bunch of unused content getting uncovered. Just adds to the story of how rushed this game was.

If I remember, someone on the team (FakeNina, I think) downloaded the level files and then they were accidentally deleted. That was what they assumed to be the only remaining files for it, so it's probably unfortunately gone forever.
I love everything about this early prototype build for the High Seas Hi-Jinks, N. Gin and N. Brio & N. Tropy boss fights! All of this cut content looks so amazing and in all honesty, I wish they kept it all in and fixed everything that was broken instead of scrapping it all and making all these sections more bland. This right here really shows the amount of potential Crash Twinsanity as a game alone had in order to be a much better game if it was actually 100% complete in development when it got to its final stage! I still love the final build of Crash Twinsanity that we actually got and grew up with, but I can't help but think of all the potential it had to offer so much more... I'm really grateful for your showcase of all this cut content from Crash Twinsanity Prototype Builds! 😎
IKR!? It looks so fucking amazing and it could have potentially developed into something much better and even more epic than how it actually turned out. It would be so cool if Crash Twinsanity was remade for 9th gen consoles such as the PS5 with all cut content! Now that would be dope! 😎
The final version didn't do it for me as it felt very lack lusting & rushed while this early stuff is much more interesting and offered a lot more. Crash even had a new move in the early builds, & that got scrapped. They should've gave this game another year and we would've had everything.
MAN, that ngin boss fight layout could of had serious potential, even for another boss in another level. Interesting how they were going with rusty chase before the ngin mini fight. Nice to see the cut platypus and melee rhyno enemies in action! Thanks once again! Looking forward to more!
A lot of changes. We got the deleted Pirate Platypus at 2:13. Some parts of the level stayed the same, but were developed more. A different way to battle N-Gin. The Rusty Walrus chase takes place before you battle N-Gin. The N. Brio and N. Tropy boss fight is a little different. And the entrance to N-Gin's battleship is different. Defiantly a lot of changes. Do more, please.
@Frogger ok so im assuming that you're baiting but just in case you are not I will explain why i think this better than in the final game, In the original Ngin fight you jus run in circles around him and then you stand still waiting for him to throw a tnt crate while in this version while you still just run around dodging missiles now its more interactive because you have to hit them back, now the Nbrio fight is the exact same but it has an extra attack that might have made the fight be somewhat challenging
@@Edgy9 It's also weird how they scrapped the pirate look of the ship for a more modern but then scrapped the more modern bossfight (missile battleship) for a more pirate looking bossfight.

I always thought that one of the most notable content cuts was where you beat N. Gin and just fell into the ship somehow and were in the hallway for the Walrus. I always wondered what the missing parts were, so this was pretty cool to see.
The game was announced when I was 12 and I was really hyped at that time for seeing Crash Bandicoot in that new 3D shape and renuvated graphic style. The result effectively was suffering from too much cuts with respect to what the game was intended to be. It is a pity that you guys didn't have time to implement everything in the game. I loved the "wumpa" writing in the HUD and the usage of the Crash series fonts for all the in-game text. Is there anything you regret in particular? And also, were there plans for inedit collectibles and secret levels, before the project took its final direction? And how did the relics work in the prototype (I saw them in some old pause menu)? Sorry for the many questions, but I always found fascinating the concept behind this game and how much larger and greater this game could have been (though still it can be considered funny and enjoyable in its final shape). Thanks!

That first section outside the ship actually looks pretty cool! I might even prefer it to the layout in the final game. And the oil slick obstacle and cannonball enemy are cool as well. The bosses are pretty good alternatives to the final ones too. The N. Gin fight in this prototype looks much more creative and fun than the one in the final game, although I do prefer it to have happened before the Rusty Walrus chase instead of after.
0:47 there was something like this in crash mind over mutant except it was one of the hero titans frozen. you would be able to meet him in the late game

Most players may not know that in the final version of this level, there exists an unused hidden hazard located outside the boundaries of the last room right before you reach the elevator that brings you to the N. Gin boss fight and power crystal. It’s just a double-edged sword floating out of bounds that is possible to access and see with the use of glitches but it’s more preferable if you use levitation cheats to make your way there. Just head to the left side of the area (OOB of course), look down and you will see it.
There is so much cut content from this game, that a remake of Twinsanity would mine as well be an entirely new Crash game! I like the bit with N Brio, I think that added just a little more challenge and skill.
The Ice Berg Tip with TNTs needs to be included in a remaster, I think Brio does too little in the final game so adding that in would make it loads better

The most divisive crash game (not counting the reboots) and my first. Never seems to get the love it deserves considering its fundamentally more interesting than most of the others in the series and had loads of potential but original trilogy fanboys will fanboy
