Glad you're finding stuff to enjoy on both of my channels - if you liked this there's a good chance you'd enjoy the John Wyndham dramas on this channel, and the author of this play, Victor Pemberton, also wrote 'Night of the Wolf', a werewolf drama starring Vincent Price and Coral Browne...

Very professional and the voices are easy on the ears!

Roger Delgado was the original and best Master in Dr Who.

He certainly was. The funny thing is, 'The Slide' was sort of reworked as a Doctor Who story and in 1968 - though sadly that story has been lost. However, when they produced an animated recreation of it a few years ago, they decided to include a Wanted Poster showing Roger Delgado as The Master at the back of one of the scenes...

Miriam Margoyles plays at least two characters in this one.
This was written before plate tectonics was a thing.

Miriam Margolyes plays Mrs Wilson. Marion Mathie ("She who must be obeyed" in Rumpole of the Bailey) plays Mrs Deverill.

Theres a weird noise in the background. Nothing to do with the play.. must be the recording
