I have one of these that worked fine until recently when it was left on until the battery died. I got the black screen with no display like you. I tried your trick with the F12 key and it did the same thing, it says ready for BIOS update, but i have no idea what to do next. I can't get it to boot. Any ideas to try? I don't have much special tools or electronic equipment. Thanks 😊.
Hello. With a tiny amount of super glue that I applied with the tip of a toothpick. Fortunately there were no missing broken pieces, so it was just a matter of reattaching them.
@@retrotomat okay but i asked you that because the upper plastic screen bezels in my toshiba portage 320ct broke off when i was trying to disassemble it and i did glue it back together and it is works but there is a small line there whare that happend and im trying to get rid of it it is bothers me
I guess the only way to make the repair invisible would be to fill the gap with epoxy, sand the entire surface and repaint it. It is not something that I ever did though...
Libretto is so small and cute. I love smaller computers like this.
this is just amazing man. I left my like.
Thanks!
Nice work I have 2 x 50CT both working nice but would like to get a PCMCIA joystick port if possible. I have the dock but it only has serial

Hello and sorry for the late reply.
It should try to boot after you add a working HDD. It worked for me after I plugged in the CF card.
the plastic just crumbled into dust on my 50CT, no idea what to do, the guts work fine though.
Sorry to read that :(
You can download some 3D models for some of the 50/70CT case parts on www.printables.com. Hopefully that can help you!
Hi man how did you fixed that cracked plastic whare the screen is?

@@retrotomat okay but after you glue it together is there a line or a mark left there whare that happened ? I mean whare the plastic broke off
Yes I can see the join when I'm close. It's not too obvious though...
