    I found it fascinating watching you create the light in the liquid and the glass cup. I would love to see real time tutorials creating glass.

    Oh Emma beautifully done, lovely clear explanation. I actually keep a pastel painting on the side whilst working in another medium. It is so relaxing and I appreciate your generous tips. I had a white General pencil with the softly toned charcoal pencils and it definitely works the best from 4 different pastel pencil companies. Thanks for the tips and video again. I hope that you can also paint what you enjoy on the side.😊

    Hullo Emma, thanks for sharing this wonderful video of glass and tea! I believe that any portion of the painting you released as an extended detailed video would be great! I hope you are able to post glass, tea, bubbles too! Please take it easy and do not overdo it. Patreon supporters are going to get the best help and justly deserved. I have sent more than one questioner to your Patreon site! You are truly inspirational and a wonderful instructor as well, a bargain and I will even say under-priced! Thank you.

      Thank you! As always it's a balance to make enough content to warrant people signing up to Patreon, and also give some free instruction here which has always been my aim. Hoping to give a little more to my TH-cam supporters this year.

    Absolutely stunning and in awe! Encore! Please, Please, do some more glass vases, bowls, and cups as I deeply would love to view it so I can make mine more realistic like your's unfolded out so I could do this next time in my soft pastel paintings. Would you even do exotic flowers or men's and lady brooches, Please!

    UART sanded paper p400 ismy favourite...similar to Fischer

    • @EmmaColbertArt
      @EmmaColbertArt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Very similar. Fisher 400 takes the pastel a little nicer for some reason for me, and it doesn't curl quite as much. However it's only available in this cream colour. Pros and cons

    Always appreciate any kind of real time demonstration you share with us.
    You've inspired me to learn how to paint with pastel sticks So on top of a small 16 half stick set I already own I ordered 5 mini unison sets. They come in 8 half sticks each grouped by color hue. So I got one of each to have a small variety to get started. It was best value by quantity and I actually compared the colors they came with to some of your real time tutorials here on TH-cam to see if it was enough to start with.

    • @EmmaColbertArt
      @EmmaColbertArt  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Excellent planning to get you started with some colours. I really think the half sticks are a fantastic way to start as you can buy twice the colours and then buy whole sticks of any you use a lot. Good luck!

    This is lovely and very helpful. I would love to see the real time tutorial of the cup - it would be fascinating. I am always up for as much instruction as possible! I am planning to join your Patreon group shortly; I love the idea of supporting more free tutorials for everyone. :) Is the General's white pencil that you used the white charcoal or white pastel?

    I specifically look for real time tutorials. Everyone talks about Patriot but, I don’t know what that is. I do fine without it so I stay here.

    • @EmmaColbertArt
      @EmmaColbertArt  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is already lots on TH-cam, you'll be fine just from the free material available these days. I'm glad to be able to provide some free education here. Patreon is a subscription site where artists like myself put their complete collection of tutorials behind a paywall to put it bluntly. The people who subscribe there pay a small amount and combined it funds me to make all my videos both there and here on TH-cam as I don't really earn anything from TH-cam. You can see the videos I have on Patreon without joining up by going to www.emmacolbertart.com/tutorials.
