- Today we introduce Korean pork belly to the London Fire Brigade. After smashing the fire noodle challenge last week, we thought it'd be nice to give them something heartwarming to make up for all the pain(?) we put them through. Hope you guys enjoy today's episode as well!

오늘은 런던 소방관분들께 한국 바베큐를 소개해드립니다. 숯불을 들고 가서 고기를 구워드리고 싶었는데, 안전상의 이유로 전기 그릴을 가져갔지만, 그래도 다들 너무 맛있게 드셔주셔서 정말 뿌듯했어요! 지난 주 불닭볶음면을 너무 쉽게 클리어하신 영국 소방대원분들, 한국 삼겹살을 처음 먹어본 반응은 어땠을까요? 영상에서 확인해주세요! ^^

As someone that's from the Fire Service, I get anxious watching these Firefighters series because I was anxiously hoping that there isn't a turnout so that they're able to enjoy the food properly. 😂 I'll be like 'Explain quicker Josh! These people don't have all the time in the world! HAHAHAH

this is why korean bbq is popular here in the Philippines too, when it was introduced, we immediately love the simplicity of it, at the same time it's a healthy and flavorful meal, prepared best with your loved ones😊. I kid you not, this Christmas and New Year we just go for a quick Korean BBQ.

In the US there’s a culture of firefighters being really good cooks and I see them all the time at the market being meticulous about ingredients and recipes and it’s fun to see that as a chef
The Lithium fire danger is real nowadays with all the e-transport devices around. Be careful out there guys, and good on Jolly/Korean Englishman for spreading this word in such an entertaining way!
It's all because of overheating - letting the battery charge too long and the auto sensor not working. I'm not sure what the solution is, but you are actually seeing some HOA's start to ban them.
Overcharging, damaged, unprotected devices/ batteries and unattended devices are biggest reason.

It is so true…e-bikes have been causing a lot of fire worldwide!! Even in Singapore. It is extremely dangerous!! As a citizen, I always take extra care when it comes to electric things. Always thankful for firefighters. Stay safe and take care!! ❤
Thank you for bringing awareness to the possible dangers of unsafely handling electric vehicles! I was not aware that this is an emerging issue and I feel like more people should know about this, especially as we move toward electrifying more vehicles
Yup! Here in my country, fire cases have been steadily increasing regarding electric vehicles from bikes to cars (both hybrid and fully electric). There should be more awareness about it
I am in the US and there have been several fires that made national news -- one particularly out of New York that I I'm thinking about, because the batteries and the bikes were not stored properly. It was a rental business. So you should never have a bike with an electric battery stored anywhere too close your house because when they go, they go big
I'm glad that they decide to bring to light this issue too.
E-bike/e-scooter related fires are quite common here in Singapore. Our Government has been pushing out ways to owners to be more aware and educated on the dangers in hopes of clamping down on the fires because we live in a densely populated country where we live in apartments, and a fire in one's apartment would also destroy other neighbouring apartments. There are regulations on owning them here but it's mostly due to the irresponsible use of e-bikes on the road as there was once an increasing number of accidents related to e-bikers with pedestrians.
The main culprit is overheating. If you allow the battery to overheat, that's when the chance for fire goes up dramatically. There are automatic sensors that are suppose to shut off the charger, but sadly they aren't the most reliable. It's a big issue - in fact a number of HOAs have started banning them.

It'd be so funny if out of nowhere when they were recording, the alarm bell rings and the firefighters have to rush out and leave the crew stranded, sitting awkwardly 😂

Happend to us in elementary school😂 we had a day to visit a fire station and about 20min in an alarm went off and they all had to go so our teachers had to bring us back to school and continue class
I'd rather not because it implies something is on fire or an emergency where someone's life may be in danger.
@adrenalinerush369 someone pointed out the trucks being in and out of the shots, so it's likely something happened.
Also, if they did it at a shift change, they could feed two groups!
There will always be a few people staying back.
