I wear those same boots here in the United States. I like them very much better than a pair of Bogs that did not even last one winter. Mine are on their second year. I have circulation issues with my legs and need to wear insulated boots when it gets cold. Other winter boots tend to be very heavy, these are light. I think they are made in Holland. I purchased mine off of a farm supply truck that stops at our dairy farm.
I’ve got bekina steplite x , bought them 3 weeks ago, based on funky farmer viewer recommendations. There good so far very comfortable for milking in. Only problem is they are slightly to big around the top of the welly. I can cope with that.
Hope these are better for you i brought the purfort wellies after your first video but before the second selling you can't wear them 😬but I have to say so far so good 👍has the tidy gone out yet?
Good luck with the new wellies. It's a case of finding a brand that suits your particular feet and requirements. Then buy about 10 pairs of them, because the minute you find something you like they discontinue it, or change it in some way.

As I’ve mentioned before in a previous video try noramax by nora, they are their new wellingtons which come in both safety and non safety. There are two types of safety, one which looks like a moon boot. They are so bloody comfortable and have a very good reassuring tread. The base line wellington are on par with the Dunlop purofort but I find the nora’s much more comfortable and they are cheaper than Dunlop’s too. I got mine from Sam turner and sons in northallerton for anyone who’s interested and can be bought online with them. Hope this helps you find that perfect long term wellington. Oh and the guy at Sam turners told me that they are flying out of the store and they have had so many good reports on them.
The deep thread on those wellies is a great job for grip but they do gather an awful lot of clay, something to be mindful of before walking into the house for tea😂😂
I’ve had around five pairs of these great wellies but always the rubber wears and cracks, but i think it probably to do with me wearing waterproofs over them, I’ve got Dunlop puroforts with red grip at the bottom of them now best wellies I’ve hadrons not very dear either £40, good luck with your bekinas!
I found the red sole version inferior to the heavier Puroforts. I'm trying the Bekina xci now as my Puroforts are leaking after three and a half years. Not bad I suppose, as I wear them all day, but the Bekinas are fifteen quid less..
Hi Rich, why not just call into your local agri store and see what range they have in and try some on before buying, i must say your the only farmer i know who makes such a fuss about them, plain Nora wellies i found to be the most comfortable and long lasting, specially designed to resist dairy chemicals, which is why your wellies are always perishing in the top, the rubber probably isn't resistant to hypo-chloride, assuming your using that as a plant sanitiser, i was never a fan of steel to caps mainly because i found them heavy and they used to go on the crease behind the steel cap. Anyway just my thoughts.
Hi Dov. You'll have to excuse me for making a fuss about the wellies but it's all in the name of research. I don't mind Noras but used to find they were a bit cold, i think they have a new thermal one out now so might try that at some point
Muck boots highly recommend I do everything in them not a problem yet I work in them I go out around town in them can’t fault them you can get steal toecaped ones on the website
I have recently bought a pair of the bekina wellies but they are the steplite X Ci*** which is actually what they are called. I think there are a bit better than the normal steplite X but anyway. Think they are sort of a all year round wellie. Keep your feet mostly warm in winter and mostly cool in summer. I mean at least your feet won’t boil in the summer which is a big problem I had with my old proper insulated ones.

Yes I've worn bekina very comfortable but cracked underneath after 15mts not bad for heave work may go for another pair

I bought a pair of these on a viewer's recommendation. So far I'm very impressed. A little sloppy but very comfortable and light.👍

I own the Bekina here in Canada and I used them for snow clearing with a snowblower. Very warm even at -20ºC. Very comfy.
I've see. Them rated at 20 30 and minis 40. I'm over here in BC. Is -20 the number or would they rock colder properly socked up?

Forgot to mention that on their website you’ll have to put nora in the search as they don’t come up in the men’s footwear.

Put the insoles in it really adds to the comfort of them that is if it doesn't affect your foot rubbing in them

Late to the party, but my Bekina wellies have just ripped after 16 years of heavy use. Buy them they are worth every penny.

Nora are my favourite because if the get wet or mucky inside you can wash them out.
