I don't think your price is high because our home in NJ is valued at around $800,00 and it's nothing spectacular, it's just because of the location. You should go on line and get a free real estate evaluation on your property because for all you know, your price might be way too low. Good luck with the sale and move to Oklahoma.
@ jared STOP trying to give your place away. You need an agent to sell it for you. What do they charge..3%...5%. If nothing else call an agent to help you pick a price for your property. Once you got money you can't go back and sell it for a higher place .cause you see you screwed up on the asking price. Not to mention you worked your ass off there. Don't you think you should get paid something for doing all that building and work?

Recently found out that the property I am getting ready to sell was appraised almost 40,000 less than what I was originally looking to sell for. The appraisal was $650 & well worth it now. I don't know what the cost is in TX but it could be well worth it for you!!
I would definitely get the property appraised. 200k seems low for what you have. Would be well worth it financially to list it and get a wide audience of potential buyers!

So glad Matt has chosen to be the one to help out the parents. It is a hard job, but he will be blessed for doing it. Give him a break every once in awhile, caregivers can get burned out. Hubs and I have taken care of his folks, his brother and my mother. Our siblings were so great to give us 3-4 breaks a year so we could visit our grands.

You need 3 or 4 donkeys in Oklahoma for livestock guards, for your goats and other animals. They will keep predators away. That's really nice property in Oklahoma you guys bought.

Jared, you could get more the $200,000 just for the land alone!! With the house, barn and everything you have made/built, the water line you had put in, etc.. You could get a lot more! It's so beautiful there as well. The horse made your barn look so small,lol.. They and the mule are so pretty.
It's a seller's market, do not sell yourself short . Lots of people moving from different areas. The only thing that you don't have is a storm shelter. Your property is move in ready except for the second bathroom . I would check with the home extension office and see what fruit trees grow better in that part of Oklahoma .
Jared, the Creek running thru your place might provide an enbankment to make a dugout tornado shelter. In some of the videos it looked like there was a ten to twelve foot drop to dig into without being in the creek its self.

That white turkey is beautiful. Maybe once you get the goats up to the new property with Jason and Daniels help maybe they can help you with spending a lot of time with the new baby goats and holding them a lot so they're more used to you so they don't get spooked by people and will come up to you to be petted and loved on, except not too much on a male after he gets older. Lol. I would definitely check out those berry plants because I've never seen those. They don't look like they belong in the blackberry or raspberry family. Good luck on getting your house sold. Hopefully it goes quickly. From what I hear homes are selling pretty quick. Your definitely asking a good price with all the property your on and all the extra buildings you have. You actually have a home and a tiny home.

Congrats on the new subs. Should go higher at 350 K work lower to 285 K. You have many buildings plus all fenced in and the barn. If you do that for a treat for the goats at your new home. Hey Jared. Good Morning! Those briars out at the Ranch are wild blackberries. They are kind of seedy sometimes, but good for jelly, jams and cobblers. We ate lots of 'em in SETx when the kids were little. Oh, and float your eggs to see if they are bad or good. If they float, chunk 'em. I love my fresh eggs. You do look like a horse person, and he was a beautiful gelding. That mare was pretty too. Can't wait to see all ya'll do out at SDR. Be safe heading up and Have a Good Day :-)

Hey Jared. Good Morning! Those briars out at the Ranch are wild blackberries. They are kind of seedy sometimes, but good for jelly, jams and cobblers. We ate lots of 'em in SETx when the kids were little. Oh, and float your eggs to see if they are bad or good. If they float, chunk 'em. I love my fresh eggs. You do look like a horse person, and he was a beautiful gelding. That mare was pretty too. Can't wait to see all ya'll do out at SDR.
