Excellent video kotabear!!!! You have no idea how happy it makes me seeing someone ride an assault where it suppose to be.. I laugh every time I see someone put out a video on assault where it's flat or just mild drifts... U just showed what machine can do.. thankyou for not riding on groomed trail to show how great machine is... Great job!!!!
What a great example of how amazing these new snowmobiles are. Also it was a good test on your ticker. I would have been breathing hard too. Great skill both of you have to get through conditions like those.
For sure it was crazy but as nervous as we were it was still fun and laughed about it when we got back!! And for sure my ticker was going at 100 mph lol
I was thinking the same thing the entire time lol we weren't expecting to have that much snow we only had to go like 5 miles before we hit groomed trail and the gas station our mistake lol
This brings back horrible memories of claiming my elk harvest after a massive snow storm. My heart was racing with you. Well done on navigating that terrain!
Thats crazy man those elks are huge but it was a once and a lifetime experience I'm sure!! Kinda sucks in the moment but when you look back at it your like damn that was kinda awsome!!!
Cool vid man, night riding always interesting to watch. Planning to buy a matryx switchback 850 myself as well. Your vids have been rly useful to see It in action.
Wow Brother deep and steep is right. The Polaris likes to Eat it up. Your machine, is it a 146 that’s a true cross over and the 2” paddle seems to work real well. I’m thinking on a Polaris next season I rode the new 650 Indy Matryx absolutely loved it. But I am waiting to drive the 850 vr1 next weekend then we will see. I be been on a skidoo since 97. Before that I had a 94 Indy light twin and a 95 storm. Both were new brand new machines when I bought them both of them detonated the second season I rebuilt them and traded them in and bought two 600 doo’s. I like the way your Polaris pulls. I currently have an 03 Mxz x 800r beaver tail 121”and a 2017 Renegade X 850 129””. Great Video Bud. Ride Safe.
Thanks bud they sure do eat!! And yeah I think you will be happy with a indy vr1 the power is good and the handling is really good on trail you can rail thr corners good and eats up the bumps pretty good!!! Sounds like you have got to test all sorts of sleds which is cool man!!

I will buy anything if the price is right and I can make a bit on the other end. Lol
I dig night rides like that. Makes for quite the sh*t shows some times. Good for a workout, I wish we had snow like that here. Hope the headlight adjustments help out next time
Great video! I would recommend to you and a lot of other guys who ride, especially off trail to be sure to do a little off season cardio training in advance of the season. I'm 62, in better shape than I should thanks to good genes from mom but know all to well how exhausted one can get rather quickly especially when digging out. Would really suck to have a bro go down in the woods digging out!
I use a quad lock and I always track on on x because everytime I trust the guy who knows the area “” we get lost with on x you just follow the dotted line back home
I always carry a garmin handheld gps at night here only way i feel safe riding at night. I was on a trail that i use everyday here 2 nights ago by myself and got turned around without the gps i had no idea where the fuck i was and i was actually right on the same trail i use every single day all year round when i atv in the summer months. Ive dropped markers on the custom trail routes within the gps for this whole area so i can keep my self away from ponds brooks and streams and keep myself out of the dense trees.
