From the 1853 New York Crystal Palace Industrial Exposition of All Nations through the 1964 New York World’s Fair, So-Called Dollars were struck as commemorative medals. Jeff Shevlin, numismatic researcher and expert on So-Called Dollars, will share the stories told by these medals and discuss his recently published book (co-authored by William Hyder) that will serve as a new standard reference for the medals.
