You could get some storage bins (that are cute) and put them on top of the shelf like where your suitcase was!! Also under the mirror you could put a dresser now that your shoes are moved :)

We have a seasonal closet. We put the winter clothes in boxes or in a suitcase and store them in the basement. I always choose a few pieces that will keep me warm, if it gets cold. When I feel that my clothes don't keep me warm anymore I switch the clothes from the suitcase and also pick a few lighter pieces. I don't find that it is more effort. U just have the things in ur closet you really need to wear
i wish i could completely stow away my winter clothes, however i live in a climate where it is beautifully sunny one day, and raining and freezing the next, even in the summer. but since you live in texas, i would really take advantage of being able to have a seasonal closet!
i have a smaller closet too, and what i do is put away all my winter clothes in a storage bin on the top of my closet, and it saves me a lot of space! i suggest the same for you too💗
Haley, you should do a "one in, one out rule!" Basically if you buy a new hoodie you donate/sell a hoodie so then you keep the same amount of clothes on your closet.
Maybe you could use some large plastic bins up at the top where your suitcase is to store the heavier winter clothes so that you could still have everything together in the closet?
