I can't believe all the goodies you found in that very uncomfortable weather 🌬☔️ loved the view of the rocks and waves with the tide coming in, just beautiful. The baby mussel was darling, and the extraordinary colors of the moons was exciting. Thank you so much for braving the conditions to bring us such joy.
Hi Jaime!!!! Great moons!!! I am just finishing cleaning my PI shells and they look so wonderful. So many shells and I still want to go back to PI to get more!!!! It is true, you inspire us!!!!! Abrazos ❤
I hope you dropped your shell bag at the door, when you got home, threw on some warm lounge clothes and snuggled under a blanket with a hot chocolate. Thank you for all the weather you endure to bring us great shelling videos. I love blue mussels so thank you for giving them more screen time and I like little shells so the baby blue mussel and the baby moon were very cute.
Good evening, The blue muscles are beautiful. The colors. The moon's are beautiful. Love the mini moon. The dog welkes are very nice. Thank you for a great video and hope you get warm soon. Have a great night.
What a miserable day but it planned out to be a really good day for shelling ! You found some gorgeous shells ! Thanks for going out in the weather for us !
My sister and I went beach combing while you were gone. We ended up at Salty Brine Beach in RI. We found HUGE clam shells, muscles and a bunch of others. It was a great day! Your videos inspired me!
You are so brave going out in that cold wet weather. But at least you found some pretty cool shells. Worth being out. Those moon shells were really nice colors. Keep warm there.
Goodness gracious! It looked sooooo cold there today! I'm glad you found some wonderful shells, but equally glad you left the beach when you did. I'm not sure how long your poor hands would survive! lol Take good care of you!!! xoxoxo
1. I was so nervous you were going to take a digger on those rocks! The plover police warned Kim and I to be careful a few weeks ago. 2. They have been transplanting ribbed muscles into Joppa Flats to try to prevent erosion (so I heard on NPR). 3. I am glad you found your purple hat! 4. Your flowering shrubs look amazing and I am totally jealous of them as mine are sad and lame.
I use Rustoleum clear coat spray. You can get a high gloss, but I prefer semi-gloss or satin. It keeps the shells looking like they just came out of the water!
Hey there. Can you tell me when we would not be able to access lot 7 to go to Emerson rocks? We came in October for a visit but I went to the main beach area as I did not do proper research and my son has been wanting to go back someday specifically to hit the Emerson rocks for moons and deep sea scallops and other goodies.
Hi Cindy! To access the Emerson Rocks, you'll need to wait until September. They have closed down most of the Refuge access points, including the Emerson Rocks at Lot 7. We're hoping they reopen at the end of August, but it's unclear at the moment. It all depends on the plovers. Contact me at the end of August and I'll let you know ok?
Even in such miserable weather you’re always happy and excited for each shell. We are grateful.
I just love it! Thanks so much for watching!

You’re so funny…❤️❤️❤️
Hi Jamie. What are blister pearls? Thankyou for sharing even under such terrible conditions. I guess it’s called unconditional love of shelling❤
Hi Ginna! It's because I'm obsessed! Haha. Blister pearls are pearls that form that stay attached to the inside of the shell. They are super swoony!
Goodness gracious! It looked sooooo cold there today! I'm glad you found some wonderful shells, but equally glad you left the beach when you did. I'm not sure how long your poor hands would survive! lol Take good care of you!!! xoxoxo
Hi Suzi, I love shelling so much, I brave the cold! LOL!! Thanks for watching!
Braving the weather for us.. go get warm and dry!!!

Hi Sarah!
I didn't know they were transplanting the ribbed muscles! Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
do you clear coat the blue mussells so they look wet? i really like the caramel and cream moon snail, so yummy!
I use Rustoleum clear coat spray. You can get a high gloss, but I prefer semi-gloss or satin. It keeps the shells looking like they just came out of the water!
