- Denmark is sending its "entire artillery" to Ukraine, the Danish prime minister has said.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, Mette Frederiksen appealed to other European nations to do more. "They are asking us for ammunition now. Artillery now. From the Danish side, we decided to donate our entire artillery,' she said. It's as Russia said it has taken full control of the eastern Ukrainian city of Avdiivka, its biggest gain since capturing Bakhmut last May, after a retreat by Ukrainian troops.

Denmark is a small country, but its population is very intelligent. They understand Putin's imperial views. Denmark helps Ukraine and thus buys itself and other countries time to form such an economy and public policy that they can protect the citizens of Denmark and Europe as a whole. actually, the Baltic states do everything they can, Poland and Czech Republic also, UK, France, Germany, Spain do a lot...most of Europe knows what is at stake with the exception of some fascists.
Democracies need to decide whether other sovereign democracies need to be defended. Denmark has make the logical and consistent decision. If Putin and Xi knew that any adventures against the interests of sovereign democracies would be met by a unified reaction from the intellectual, industrial and military powerhouses of assembled free nations ... the world's collective security would be guaranteed.
We in the West are better than the authoritarian East ... this decision by Denmark is only amazing because of the inability of the US to offer coherent leadership. The US could have made the Ukrainian struggle much easier by supplying the obsolete weapons they did supply, much earlier and follow through with modern upgrades. Even South Korea has provided more 155mm shells than the US.

Congratulations! DK is a tiny 40,000 km² country but it has more balls than many big nations. The Danes are pragmatic and know that, unless you defeat Putler in Ukraine, you'll have to fight him in the Baltic and in Western Europe. Helping Ukraine is in our best interest.

Ukraine is supported with almost all types of weapons and armour, tanks, planes, artillery and much else from NATO, and especially the EU countries, for example Denmark gave all their artillery to Ukraine before they had bought anything new! And Denmark has also donated around 50-60 leopard tanks, and all their F-16 aircraft since Denmark was still in the process of upgrading to the almost new F-35, but Ukraine's Navy did not get much help from outside, either from the USA, the EU countries or others! But I think that the only solution to the crisis is if the UN sends in peacekeeping forces, but of course that is not going to happen, now that so much money has been spent on the military equipment! Danish dynamite!

France military support is about 0.66 billion, which is roughly ~1% of their overall defense budget and about 0.002% of their GDP. What can Russia offer? They have already signed more than one treaty promising not to attack Ukraine. We have seen what they are worth. Any "peace" negotiated on Russia's terms would only last until Russia is ready to attack again.
