I love this ATV, I purchased one barely used for $300. Had a gummed up carb. Cleaned everything out and it starts one click. Definitely a good ATV for the money and for what it is. Don't expect to make jumps with this, but for putting around the farm or trails, it gets the job done.

Excellent review. I think your review convinced me that this is a great all around starter ATV for my teens.

Them 150cc gy6 engines are bulletproof. Syn oils. They can take alot of abuse. Seafoam or mmo in the tank. Never an issue. Stators are a bit weak but easy to change out. Very stable. Very low center of gravity. Looo e my linhai m150. And I ride two up. Very impressed

Water-cooled and air-cooled both have fans. It's AIR-COOLED. Maybe it's different in Canada, but the rest of the world-it's air-cooled.

I had one for 5 years , only rode it on trails at Sam Houston State Forest ...not ruff or hard ...make sure to turn off fuel valve and run till it cuts off....eventually broke motor mounts (w/ light use) ...replaced front bearing on right side front wheel and had to eventually replace carburetor ...you also want to start it up at least once a week to flow fluid and keep battery charged , also get you a battery maintainer ($8.99@ Harbor Freight) to keep battery charged....most important start weekly these carbs are prolly the worst part on them....and eventually sold it to my buddy for basically nothing and he never rode it at all ...last I saw it was buried in a garage full of other shit that he never uses....wise I'd done something different with it !!!

I have this machine, and for no reason it shoots in the exhaust, and it does not go into revs, the day before the ride there was no problem, can you please help me?

Hey I recently bought one of these and was curious to see what you used for that transmission intake on the bottom of the quad ? I really don't want water or anything getting in there ?

Great video. Do you have a spring-loaded chain tensioner on that coolster?

I recently got one and stupidly emptied the Gear case instead of the engine oil. By chance do you know how to re-fill the gear oil? That refill bolt hole is not easy to reach, lol

On mine the engine flexes when you hit the gas and after awhile one of the engine mounts broke off

Does this have enough power to pull a 9 x 4 garbage bin on wheels up a slightly sloped ramp in the winter?

Great review! My brother and I each have a Coolster 3150 DX2. We are both large guys over 6ft and near 250lbs and these atvs pull us around just fine. They are also surprisingly durable. I really didn't know how well the plastics would hold up, but my brother has had his buried in the creek, cartwheeled down a hill twice...I've plowed into a couple trees and these things still run and look good. If I had bought it for my daughters to ride only...then I think the atv is just fine as stock. However...since I tend to find a bit of mud and climb some hills I wouldn't want my daughters climbing, the upgraded CST mud tires I put on mine were a huge improvement over stock for mud and climbing. I also upgraded the front shocks on mine which also made an improvement to the ride but the stock ones will serve the purpose as well. Thanks for the review. I enjoyed it. th-cam.com/video/-BEOrC_9O-Y/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for the comment. I habe enjoyed watching your videos and it helped in the decision making process to buy it. I find myself getting on it often and running it around the yard. Fun machine.

The larger, more powerful and 4x4 atv's are definitely going to handle extreme terrain much better then the Coolster 3150 2x4, but one thing I really do like about the Coolster 3150 is that it is able to navigate tight trails and also navigate brush and fallen trees in the timber without having to bulldoze your way through like a larger machine. It is rather nimble in tight areas and you don't feel like you are driving a tank. We also like the fact that they are very quiet in the timber when we are hunting. It will never stack up against a $6000 machine in most areas, but it does have some of it own special qualities and for someone like me who isn't doing anything too extreme or for a youngster like your daughter...it is a great ATV for the price.

+Yellow Birdie Hello, Yellow Birdie. I think these machines are a good starting point for a new rider. They offer everything the more expensive machines offer and maybe a little more. I ordered my Coolster from Wholesale Motorsports in Brighton Michigan. www.wmsbrighton.com call them and talk with Joe. The Coolster comes with a 3mo warranty and if you do need a part for something Ebay has them for next to nothing. So far I'm very pleased with the machine. I'll be posting future videos of it for sure. Thank You ACat.Man4x4

Just noticed something in your video. At 1:46 I notice your voltage regulator is laying down on your plug wire. Perhaps you already know or was messing with it, but in case you didn't notice..its suppose to mount on the frame.

I just bought one and put it together with the help of a few friends. I put 10w-40 conventional oil valvoline. The instructions tell you two different oils. 15w-40 and 10w-40. 10 is so much easier to find.
