Written by the great French composer of the 14C Ars Nova, Guillaume de Machaut, this song is a standard in my repertoire and on the Renaissance Festival circuit. One of the joys in resuming my schedule has been that I get to play with other musicians again! My colleagues are freaking brilliant and I made some tweaks to my arrangement to take into account their innovations and I’m really pleased with the result.
