I havent played or watched league in forever but felt the desire to watch some toplane gameplay so i looked up League of Legends Toplane Gameplay and this video popped up.
Im having a lot of fun watching this. I like the explanations and seeing some stuff I didnt know like Darius Ult causing fear to minions around you. Thats cool, I didnt know it did that. A nice way to stop a bunch of minion damage on you when you go in on the enemy. Stuff like that is neat.
I also like listening to the explanations and just randonly hearing the announcer announce the enemy killing your teammates the entire game. Its comedy

to fix the fps thing try turning on "wait for V-sync" then turn it off it fixed it for me but it always comes back when I tab out so it's a temporary fix
glad im not alone with this issue lol, league is the only game that has this bug so far
7:07 watch ur nvidia settings, maybe ur vsync is on there and and also the priority to choose theses options too.

for your in game fps check your nvidia control panel to see if you have it capped
Games like this are why I hate league. If you didn’t do nearly everything perfect that game was hard lost. So much effort while your team couldn’t care less. Classic League Experience. Why do these guys even play the game?
Maybe because it's a video game
that doesn't even make sense man at least refer to it specifically by the MOBA genre or even more generalized with competitive team based games, but just games?
How does this apply to any single player story game?
Maybe touch grass and actually think that maybe just maybe people are not always good or perfect(?)
Hey davey, i saw your problem and i know something that might helps, try to deactivate the vsync cause it helps create stability by synchronizing the image frame rate of your game or application with your display monitor refresh rate
Make sure that gsync or freesync is off that sometimes causes some games to lock on 144 or 60 fps depending on the game setting
There is a possibility where even u select ur setting in full-screen but the game assumed it was running in border-less window, this happened to many games, not limited to league, alt out and go back usually fix it, but it's not consistent.

So the 144 frames thing happens to me too. I just hit cntrl+tab and it resets the priority and goes back to 250fps. Hopes this helps you lol

For fps, first check the screen refresh rate. Is it 240 already? You will need to have NVidia gsync to lock game refreshing rate with screen rate. Then turn on vsync in league. It will match 240 on the screen.
There is a fix for your problem by going from fullscreen to windowed mode and then back to fullscreen seems to fix the issue. My fps gets randomly capped to 75 fps but using this method it uncaps my fps, dont know why lol does that.
I wish I knew what that Lux was thinking when she started getting effortlessly farmed.

I have that fps problem too. It's lock on 60 for me. I always use shift+tab for windows screen mode and then I make it full-screen again. It's will work for me always
i also get the fps thing, i have a 144hz monitor and it is not 144fps when it gets locked there, super annoying, a temporary fix is just tabbing out and tabbing back in works for me
have you checked your windows advanced display settings? maybe your it's locked to 144 Hz there. anytime I connect a new display to my pc windows resets all displays to 60Hz for me. took a long time to realize it the first time it happened

I had the same issue with a different game but are you using 2 monitors but have different frame rates. I used to have a 144hz monitor and a 2nd monitor with 60hz. My pc would always lock at 60fps all the time because it is trying to sync fps I think. I then bought a second monitor with 144hz and the issue never occured again. I hope this helps
Might be an issue with V Sync. Try checking your nvidia settings.😊

Its likly your monitor is 144hz and it is lowering you max FPS thru video/windows display settings.
