My dad's family came to Israel from Algeria and Morocco around the early 1940's. My dad doesn't talk much about it, and considering he was around 3 years old I'm not sure what he remembers. Do you know the history of that area as far as Jewish life? Were they ethnically cleansed from those areas too in the early 1940's? Was it the actual German Nazis that did it?
@@thevillageyid If you search the Jewish Virtual Library for Jewish refugees from Arab countries, you'll find information on some of the history. Jewish virtual library is a good source to start researching. There's so much I wish I'd asked my grandparents - don't not ask your dad when you still have the chance. Maybe you could research together? My dad's quiet like that too-it can be frustrating to have him change topic! Good luck ❤️
@@thevillageyidAlgerian Jews were unique, they were full French citizens, their flight from Algeria in 1961 had to do with the fln considering them part of French colonization. Morrocon Jews with money fled over the years to France and west and poor and religious ones went to Israel. Some famous morrocon Jews actually went back to morroco recently(morroco has a expat community that lives there).
Great conversation! Tal truly brings a much needed change in the Hasbara fight. I used to be anti-zionists and thought that Hasbara speakers all had a similar thing to say. Then I watched Tal and his straightforward, eastern way of fuck you here's the facts, which really got me to think more critically and do more research. Now I stand firm and genuinely realize that Israel is an absolute necessity and despite criticisms, both fair and unfair, has far more good to it than what people realize. Am Yisrael Chai! ✡
As Douglas Murray said he looks at the younger generation in Israel with awe and praise. They’ve picked up the fight on all fronts. Israel has a great future.
Great conversation! Tal exemplifies how 'Our love is stronger than their hate' with his hasbara. Our love IS a weapon. Jihadis and useful idiots are human beings. Tal reminds his audience to keep our humanity when reacting to their words or actions. His ability to create a safe space is incredible. Thank you for having him on your show.
All this BS aside, how do you explain 50,000 women and children killed in Gaza? If an American soldier or pilot did that, they’d be spending the rest of their lives in jail.
Thanks for having me!

Fully agree. Arab culture only understands strength. We always look and act weak therefore.....

Apartheid was in South Africa; now it has been transferred to Palestine.
