Wyoming is our neighbor, and have been through it many, many times. Thank you for pointing out it's history and beauty. People think that there's nothing to do in Wyoming. You just have to love Gods beauty, no matter what it looks like, and Wyoming has a variety of beauty.

During WWII my mother, a US Army nurse, stopped here on her way from the east coast to West coast and one of her nurse friends saw her on the stairway inside and called out to her. The station has since enclosed the stairway but what a surprise for mom.

My neighbor passed away in 2020 at 99. He used to vacation in Wyoming and Montana driving from the Sacramento area. In the Sixties he got lost on a dirt road in Wyoming and came up on a stranded station wagon. The lady's car stalled and wouldn't start. He shook out the air filter and it started up. She insisted they follow her home for lunch. Home was a rustic cattle ranch in a beautiful valley. They waited until her husband got home to begin lunch. It was then governor Clifford Hansen. My neighbor said he was the most down to earth guy. They stayed for dinner and overnight in a guest house. They really hit it off as both were avid hunters and the governor had a large gun collection. He gave my neighbor an open invitation to visit anytime he was in the area. But my neighbor never took him up on it. Said he just wasn't comfortable doing it, didn't want to impose.

Holy Mackerel Jeff and Sarah! I figured out on your time line, we just missed you guys at the Cheyenne Railroad Depot. My oldest son and his family moved from Manteca to be near us in Colorado. We took them and the kids up to the railroad depot on a Saturday in late August. Would have been fun to say hi to you two in person! Great job on the videos! Thank you for the Thursday surprise. :)

Wow! We arrived in Cheyenne on Sept. 3, spent the night and left the next day, Sunday, Sept. 4. Passed through again on Sept. 9. It would have been cool to meet one of our biggest fans! As it turns out, nobody recognized us on that entire trip so apparently few people up there have watched us. 🤷

@@jbenziggy I think its so ironic, having grew up in Modesto, how close our paths may have come. Like the train depot in Cheyenne, we have come close to meeting. Maybe we have in my younger years, we just never knew it. We lived in the same town, gone to the same stores. Visited many of the areas you have done videos. I cant help but have a tie to you two. Maybe some day in the time line, we will meet.

Jeff & Sarah; if you have the time you’re gonna want to tour the inside of the Depot at Cheyenne, 3 floors of model train layouts, life size wheels & driving rods, old ticket windows just to name a few. And of course Art work. Wife and I stopped on our way to Denver after a road trip to the Black Hills. Upon seeing the Station I said let’s ck where “Bigboy” is , # 4014 was enroute 11 miles from our home in S Texas. So I got on the Laptop and follow the steam progress that way. Thank You. I missed the murals ; good reason to go back 😃👍

Yep. I will put Cheyenne on my to see list. State capital looks cool but I liked the murals mostly.
