I prefer a mix of new and old. The vintage and antique pieces warm up the sea of neutral. Prevents a room from looking like a “showroom.” Love this series.

Just love what you did with this lake house. I saw the real estate sales video on this house -- and all I can say is, that you have an amazing vision. All that green was a huge turnoff. Your color scheme and design definitely is what a lake house should look like. And like you, I adore blue, all shades of blue.
I cannot pick just one or two things I like in this video, because I LOVE everything! Blue and white are my favorite combo. There is nothing I don’t love in the colors of fabric patterns and combinations of shades of colors. Sarah, I have loved this series so much. Your transformations are uplifting and just bring so much joy because you can see what a room should be as opposed to what it currently is. One of the things I loved most about this series is y’all sitting around the fireplace amidst a construction site. In the mid 60s, my parents moved from our in town house out to 12 acre country property. My dad, who was a natural architect, designed the addition that included a great room with a fireplace. He wanted the fireplace to be blackened, when we moved in. I have a wonderful memory of him sitting on saw bucks with the fireplace going. You really have given people a master class on how to design with your environment in mind. Thank you for this. It’s been an absolute blast. I’ve either had a glass of wine or had a cuppa coffee, depending on what you were sharing with us, the only thing missing is Tommy😍😍
This was such a grand reveal! Class 101 on how to make a wide open space feel intimate in areas at the same time. Fabulous transformation! This connection to the external environment inspires me to do a little regigging at my home. I’m looking forward for the next reveal!

I’m so overwhelmed by how lovely this is. I like your aesthetic normally and this adds some of my favorite colors. Very nice. The rattan is fabulous. I have a rattan couch that I love. I feel like I need more.
I built a lake house in South Louisiana. I used a natural white oak flooring that matches yours. My only difference is my color basis is green. Down there the trees, the water, everything is green with little touches of colors from the birds and fish and just nature. Just like you I used the inspiration of what I see out the windows to pull inside. Thank you for everything. I have learned so much.
Shades of green is my very favourite colour. Everything you touch turns blue in every makeover or new build you do. That said,you’re taste and decorating aesthetic is exquisite.

I love everything about this house! I'm from Michigan originally and now reside in NW Ohio. We moved here due to the price of living. While it's much more affordable here, I so miss seeing lakes with ble water! All fresh water here looks like chocolate milk because of silt. Black water swamp area created a lot of silt. Anyhow, phenomenal job on the reimagining of this beautiful house! I have been watching since you started it and what an improvement with a LOT of work ❤

What I would like to see is if you are redesigning or renovating rooms in stages, how do you successfully do that so it doesn’t look disconnected especially when the stages are a few years apart.
Wow! This room is gorgeous! I love the old shop counter and how you moved it to make a statement and delineation. My other favourites are the Montauk sofa and the orb light. Though truthfully, I'd have to visit with my book and pillow to decide which of those fabulous seating areas is my favourite.
It’s beautiful. Needs a lamp by the painted rattan chairs (for reading) and by the Montauk sofa (also for reading). I haven’t seen any of the blue sort of watery waves fabric she used on Sarah’s Island 2.0 yet. I think it was on pillows in the former screened in porch. So pretty!
Love all the blues and whites and so beige speaks Georgian Bay lucky to been able to travel with my twin and her husband on power boat for a few summers when young and able-bodied now we turn 70 on the 24th like to think we are 35 but the body's are saying No ! Glad for the experience and an outstanding brother in law to include me ! Georgian Bay is like no other anchor out in a quiet Bay was so peaceful and relax on the warm rocks at night the best even their dog bandit loved the trips north ! Sadly not much in travel now !But get to celebrate my 70th the with my sister since husband passed Feb 2020 will sit by lower lake Huron live in Sarnia and will enjoy its beautiful sunsets it has too offer just 8 minutes from home ! Special place to live small but mighty Sarnia largest city on the great Lakes in Canada !Thanks for sharing been watching from the beginning !
