Used car salesman. It’s an empty assertion that if you wait long enough you’ll profit. The questions are how long and how much? You can get hurt rather a lot if you buy a stock at say 25% more than it will cost in a few months or weeks.
It’s not really hurting if you’re not selling at a lost. You’re doing it wrong if you’re playing it for the short term which you’re implying here. If you want to play the long game, and you’re trying to time the market, you’ll just be FOMOing all the time cause you’ll never know when things will go on a run or crash. Same mindset with buying real estate. If back in 2018, you just anticipate a housing crash, well look where it is now. Some markets have nearly doubled since 2018 so even a crash wouldn’t bring it back to those levels. The only lost is either not doing anything, or simply selling at a loss. In the end no one knows. If you think it’s going to keep going down then feel free to wait.

They have been saying this on small cap/innovation since March 2021, and people are now down 50% or more and trapped for years. Make no mistake about it. The SPY, QQQ, and IWM could still go down another 25-35% this year, next year could also be a down year, and the year after that also a down year. You cannot be thinking long term right now. If you missed your chance to get out of tech and the indices at the end of 2021, its already too late. Just hold on to that. But don't be a dip buying donkey in 2022 and wipe out whatever gains you may have earned before. The risk/reward is not worth it until SPY hits 380.

That's a rookie mistake,I started my portfolio with precisely 84k grand in stocks last year and currently over 1.3 million in my portfolio , never had major losses, all of that covered by her insurance policies .I still believe that the secret to financial stability is having the right investment ideas to enable you to earn more money, I don't know who agrees with me but either way I recommend stocks because stock market is still one of the most potential places to invest your money.

I own a electric truck 2022 FACTS on my data
For me last year to go to Texas lake fork is 879 miles total
It took me 12 hours and half with 120 bucks in gas total
This year with my electric truck ford lighting it took me 3 days and 234 dollars in charging money FACTS ooooo yea why 3 days it takes me up to 8 hours per charge and I only had 224 miles per charge yes I had a boat in tow

Russia is not the only source of all they produce. If Russia can not access the market, and the demand exists, should not some other actor in the market take advantage of the opportunity. Maybe not oil(OPEC and quotas) but in other areas but maybe even OPEC which only sets total output.

They have been saying this on small cap/innovation since March 2021, and people are now down 50% or more and trapped for years. Make no mistake about it. The SPY, QQQ, and IWM could still go down another 25-35% this year, next year could also be a down year, and the year after that also a down year. You cannot be thinking long term right now. If you missed your chance to get out of tech and the indices at the end of 2021, its already too late. Just hold on to that. But don't be a dip buying donkey in 2022 and wipe out whatever gains you may have earned before. The risk/reward is not worth it until SPY hits 380.
